--Special Containment Procedures--
There are very little special containment procedures it is kept in a storage room at site ██.
staff with level 2 clearance have access to it.
Description: SCP- has the appearance of a wooden crate. It is sentient to some extent when a user makes contact with it the crate creates inside what the user is thinking. It does have limitations it can not create anything living, and it will not make anything with a mass larger than the crate. It has not responded to any attempt at communication. So it has been concluded the object reads the mind through unknown means but is not aware of its actions. The objects it can create do not seem to be constrained by our understanding of the law of physics. SCP- has another but very similar ability it can pull objects out of time, and objects that are only theoretically possible. On one occasion a person asked for a smaller version of the crate with the same capabilities as the original. Then a smaller crate with the same capabilities was produced which was labeled SCP—1. This experience was repeated but the user requested one without the limitations of the original but nothing happened. So it was concluded that the limitations are set. The crate had a chemical analysis the makeup of the crate came back as though there was nothing there despite the fact that it could be seen and touched.
--Initial discovery--
SCP- was discovered in ████████ ████, Iowa
After reports of a magic box were circulating, most people dismissed this as rumor but gained enough footing for the foundation to notice, a containment team was deployed. Upon arrival, they questioned citizens that claimed to have used it and discovered the location. It was in a warehouse. Upon questioning the warehouse managers and the company that owned it they had no records of the empty crate and willing gave it up, for they had no need of an empty crate taking up room in their warehouse. Amnestics were given to all that claimed they used the box.
Addendum: During an average test a D class was instructed to ask for his own dead body in the box.
Security personal were positioned around because they expected some sort of resistance. The D class requested some sort of explosive. The box exploded killing the D class and all present personnel including 2 researchers all security personnel. The box at first glance was destroyed but then the pieces started being pulled back together and then cracks sealed themselves and pieces of the crate that got vaporized seem to regenerate out of nothingness. Further testing revealed that the box is impossible to destroy and will always regenerate. The time it takes varies with the level of destruction done to the box. The test with a D class personnel was repeated this and the new subject complied. The subject collapsed then vanished. When the crate was opened his body was in the crate, and the researchers could not find a cause of death.
