SCP-XXXX after a new moon

Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Thaumiel Euclid

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is located at Site-██. SCP-XXXX is stored in an airtight wooden crate filled with styrofoam, inside the storage container ██ in [DATA REDACTED], secured by a keycard access device with the authorization of personnel clearance level 2 level 5.

Description: SCP-XXXX resembles two statues depicting the ancient goddess Sekhmet.SCP-XXXX was formally located in close perimeter of Tutankhamuns tomb, supposedly guarding it. The broken statue will be referred to as SCP-XXXX-1 and the intact one as SCP-XXXX-2 from now on. SCP-XXXX-1 and SCP-XXXX-2 can create an invisible wall of hot plasma in between them1 if sunlight is present. If the distance between SCP-XXXX-1 and SCP-XXXX-2 is more than 10 meters this phenomenon does not occur. If any lifeform makes contact with the plasma wall it is reduced to ashes, and after a time period of 5 to 10 hours, it is then reborn from its ashes. If all of the ashes are not gathered in one container, the rebirth does not occur, until the ashes are reunited, After rebirth, the creature may or may not be possessed by Sekhmet in the“Undead Realm”
Any attempts to penetrate or take apart the statues have failed due to the appearance of a peculiar type of sand from the inside of the statue, which instantly hardens into standstone. Erosion occurs while there is a new moon which is unavoidable and irreversable by any means, the effect of SCP-XXXXs regeneration also slows down significantly.
After a number of tests2 it was revealed that there are disks made of Aurum within the SCP-XXXX-1 and SCP-XXXX-2. These disks are capable of disintegrating into a fine golden dust that easily mixes into the sand and concentrating infrared wavelenghts causing the plasmaic formation in between the statues.
