Item # SCP-4307
Object Class: Unclassified
Special Containment Procedures: The remnants of SCP-4307 are to be kept in the bullet-proof steel container SCP Mobile Task Force Unit Epsilon managed to concoct at Site 77 after event "EOP-4307" whilst personnel of the aforementioned site and perimeter defense units must remain at least 2km from the site due to the lack of knowledge about SCP-4307 and its psychological properties. The container is not to be transported or tampered with under any circumstances.
Description: SCP-4307 now refers to a bundle of white, wooden shards ( designated SCP-4307) contained at Site 77 as well as a new SCP-4307 specimen (named SCP-4307A) which appeared right after event "EOP-4307" in SCP-4307's original containment cell ( a steel-covered 5x5x2 container) at Facility 14 which has since then been fortified with additional sets of steel plating as well as a 2m deep layer of concrete around the container and armored doors. Due to the unprecedented outcome of event "EOP-4307" further termination attempts of SCP-4307 and SCP-4307A are to be halted and knowledge of the appearance of the new SCP-4307A entity is to be wiped from foundation records with witnesses being administered Class 3 amnesiacs due to the anomalous properties of the entity. The actual SCP-4307 used to be an old, white wooden mask coated with a blue, luminescent substance of unknown origin. The design of the SCP-4307 mask can be traced to no known culture or tradition of origin as the mask itself looks more like a piece of bark ripped straight of a unknown species of white-barked trees than the craftsmanship of a carpenter.
