Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be placed in the 3nd floor personnel break room when not undergoing testing with an accompanying pool table and balls as well as an attached note describing its anomalous effect. There should be at least one guard of security clearance level 3 monitoring SCP-XXXX at all times

Should SCP-XXXX's current whereabouts be located, it is to be retrieved and placed in a containment cell in the nearest foundation site. SCP-XXXX should be surrounded by a 5 cm deep hole on all sides. All testing of SCP-XXXX should be approved by the site director.

If found, further testing should be done to attempt to administer class C amnestics to SCP-XXXX

Description: SCP-XXXX is a sentient #2 billiard ball with the ability to manipulate probabilities such that any likely outcome of a given situation becomes unlikely and any unlikely outcome becomes likely. Any limit to SCP-XXXX's ability has yet to be found, however SCP-XXXX cannot do things that it does not know how to do, see addendum XXXX-x.

SCP-XXXX maintains an aversion toward holes and provided there is a non-zero chance of SCP-XXXX not entering a hole of any kind, it will invariably fail to go into one.

Discovery: A video surfaced online of a man breaking. After the shot, all the pool balls aligned in the shape of a 2 with SCP-XXXX underneath the 2. From the background, the pool table was found to be in ██████ Family Tavern in ██████, Ireland. Further investigation revealed SCP-XXXX's anomalous property and it was then taken into containment and replaced by a non-anomalous 2 ball. A disinformation campaign has been put in place to label the video as staged.

SCP-XXXX and a cue ball are placed on the pool table as D-13582 is instructed to hit SCP-XXXX into a pocket	After roughly 20 minutes of failing to pocket SCP-XXXX including several shots that pocketed the cue ball, D-13582 is told to stop	D-13582 was told to stop due to becoming increasingly frustrated
SCP-XXXX is placed directly next to a pocket and D-13582 is instructed to hit the SCP-XXXX into the pocket	D-13582 misses the cue ball will the cue stick on his first shot, then on his second shot he grazes the side of the cue ball in such a way that it hits SCP-XXXX to the side. D-13582 gets frustrated and throws the cue stick onto the ground, accidentally snapping it.	Although another stick could’ve been brought in, head researcher, Dr. Gordon saw this as a good opportunity to run a few other tests.
A bucket is brought into the testing chamber. D-13582 is instructed to place SCP-XXXX into the bucket	D-13582 drops SCP-XXXX into the bucket then accidentally knocks the bucket over such that SCP-XXXX rolls out	“This experiment demonstrates that SCP-XXXX will avoid being inside of holes apart from merely pool table pockets. Further experimentation will reveal just how broad of a definition for ‘hole’ SCP-XXXX goes by” - Dr. Gordon
D-13582 is told to place SCP-XXXX directly into a pocket on the pool table	D-13582 is seen standing still for several seconds with his hand hovering over the pocket. He then attempts to escape foundation custody by throwing SCP-XXXX at the researchers and running out of the room.	"I believe SCP-XXXX intentionally built up frustration in D-13582 allowing for the possibility of an escape attempt. Since that was an unlikely alternative to SCP-XXXX being placed into a hole, SCP-XXXX made it happen. This seems to indicate that SCP-XXXX has an idea of cause and effect beyond the current probabilities it is manipulating which could imply the presence of a consciousness." - Dr. Gordon

A game of pool is set up and Dr. Gordon takes out a photo of a pool table with balls scattered around the table randomly. Dr. Gordon then verbally requests that SCP-XXXX form such an alignment. Dr. Gordon then strikes the cue ball	Upon breaking, the pool balls all form the exact alignment shown in Dr. Gordon's image	“This experiment seems to directly indicate that SCP-XXXX has some sort of intention when using its abilities, thus definitively implying the existence of consciousness” - Dr. Gordon
