Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Safe
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept in safe-class storage in site-64 until a new head researcher is appointed to the SCP-XXXX research team, at which point it will be moved to site-██ for further study.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a human skull of unknown origin. It was found in 19██ by foundation researchers in the Nevada desert. Upon a human approaching SCP-XXXX, it constantly will emit a swarm of Aedes aegypti, which will attack the subject quickly draining most of its blood, with a 94% death rate among test subjects. Classification to Euclid is being discussed. The skull seems to have an endless amount of the insects, only stopping when the subject is dead or no longer present.
Incident SCP-XXXX-A: At 13:42, on █/██/████, project head Dr Raymond Saul was concluding the latest test when SCP-XXXX emitted a swarm of Aedes aegypti which flew into the vent and entered the observation room. All personnel present were killed, including Dr Saul. Further testing requires NO connection between the test chamber and the observation room.
