SCP-▇▇▇▇ | "Ophiophagism

SCP-▇▇▇▇, also known as "Ophiophagism", has the appearance of a leucistic snake closely resembling the extant species Ophiophagus hannah¹.

After genetic analysis with members of the type species, data reflected multiple differences in the subject and members of the Ophiophagus hannah species.

Subject has been determined to have ZW chromosomes and female sexual characteristics. Eggs recovered from SCP-▇▇▇▇'s containment have been confirmed as fertile, leading researchers to suspect that it is capable of [[footnote]] facultative parthenogenesis [[footnote]], unlike it's closest genetic relative, Ophiophagus hannah, which has yet to be recorded as capable of performing asexual reproduction. Researchers have failed to hatch recovered eggs from the subject, and eggs left within it's containment will disappear long before they would be prepared to hatch, presumably

Containment Procedures

Containment of SCP-▇▇▇▇ should include the following specifications:

Given the size of SCP-▇▇▇▇ (18'ft 8"in), it should be housed in a closed space with a minimum length and width of 186"in.
SCP-▇▇▇▇ requires a stable temperature of around 95 degrees Fahrenheit, or 35 Celsius.
This enclosure should have between 50% up to 70% percent humidity.
SCP-▇▇▇▇ should be provided with a constant heat source, such as a standard heating lamp or heated rock surface.

Venom and it's Properties

SCP-▇▇▇▇ shares the iconic attribute of many snakes: A deadly bite. Analysis of the composition of the bites of the subject reveal multiple toxins in the makeup of it's venom. These include:
