Special Containment Procedures:
SCP-XXXX is to be secured inside of its sound proof vault at all times. The vault is to be guarded by a group of eight security personnel on rotating shifts of six hours.
Contact with SCP-XXXX is restricted to personnel with level 4 clearance. Any non-security personnel without authorization are to be detained and questioned. Security personnel exiting Area 188 are to be disrobed, thoroughly searched, and administered with an amnestic, those that resist are to be immediately terminated.
Necessary supplies are to be loaded onto a transport submarine bi-monthly. Any vehicles or equipment detected other than such submarines are to be immediately destroyed. In the event of a breach, Area 188 will be destroyed immediately.
Description:
SCP-XXXX is a metallic orb with a radius of one meter, floating half a meter above the ground. It has pictures of eyes etched around its body. It is somehow able to speak despite not having any clear way to do so.
SCP-XXXX has been known to comment on topics it hears in nearby conversations with information that it has no reasonable way of knowing. The information that it has given has been confirmed as factual. While away from any conversations, SCP-XXXX makes no sound. It is currently unknown if SCP-XXXX has true sentience.
From numerous experiments, it seems that SCP-XXXX uses some form of clairvoyance to discover new information. Further testing is needed to determine the extent of its abilities.
Addendum:
Due to the possibility of unauthorized personnel or those outside of the Foundation obtaining confidential information, SCP-XXXX must be under maximum security at all times.
