Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Keter

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is currently being held precisely 5 miles below ground off the coast of █████████, within a 3x3x3 meter chamber. The sides of the containment chamber are constructed of 20ft of solid lead. A hatch is located on the easternmost side of the chamber, and should remain shut at all times without exception.

The radiation level of SCP-XXXX is to be monitored at all times. Further instructions shall be given to the handler of SCP-XXXX upon the radiation level of SCP-XXXX exceeding 20,000 REM.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a nuclear explosion that is currently frozen in time 1 picosecond after detonation. It is currently burning at ~100,000,000° Celsius, and is approximately 3 inches in diameter.

SCP-XXXX is believed to have come into existence in 1979, when the United States of America launched a nuclear missile targeting the USSR after mistakenly believing the Soviets had attacked them. How the warhead arrived in █████████, and why it is frozen in time, is unknown. It is also unknown if or how it may become unfrozen in time.

Addendum: Following Incident XXXX-A (see: ██████████ ██/██/████), SCP-XXXX appears to have advanced in time one further picosecond. As such, no further experiments involving D-Class personnel and/or human contact with SCP-XXXX are to be undertaken, pending further investigation.
