SCP-4000 (The Corrupted Drive). Object Class: Keter. Special Containment Procedures: SCP-4000 Is to be contained in a hard drive at Site-XXX that when plugged into a device, will give you an offer you cant refuse. Such offers include: infinite power over the foundation, Dr. Clef’s shotgun, and the destruction of SCP-682. Once the subject has completed it’s part of the deal, SCP-4000 will begin to corrupt the subject’s device. SCP-4000-B will exit through the screen of the device, and begin to search for said subject. Once said subject is found SCP-4000-B will drag the subject into the device Once the subject is inside the device, SCP-4000-B will either eat the subject, or play a game with the subject. If the subject wins, the subject will be let go, however, with many injuries. Subject D-49823 has entered SCP-4000-C,and returned with many broken bones, scars, cuts, bruises, and missing limbs. SCP-4000 has shown teenage behaviors on the subject’s device, such as playing video games, chatting online, watching YouTube, reading lists, and checking Facebook. Incident SCP-4000-1 was when SCP-4000 has been seen attacking Dr. Bright in many ways, the most common is while Dr. Bright was…ehm…NSFW.
Testing requirements: When testing with SCP-4000 the containment room is to be clean, and the device is to be cleared of any data before and after testing. The subject is to insert the drive into the device and wait for booting. Any immediate hostility from SCP-4000 is to be resulted in the destruction of the device. If the testing goes to plan, the subject will be dragged inside the device by SCP-4000-B. After the subject either exits SCP-4000-C, or is eaten, the room is to be cleaned and the device is to be cleared.
Addendum: Not all instances of SCP-4000 have been anomalous, and some were rather interesting. SCP-4000 has been seen eating a dishwasher, a dictionary, and a grocery store.
