Special Containment Procedures:Scp-4037 is to be kept at a temperature of at least 1 degrees Celcius at all times excluding testing and to be accessed only by personell of security clearance 2 or higher.Scp-4037 is currently kept within a ten (10) centimeter by ten (10) centimeter wooden case at site ██ but can be kept in any form of ordinary containment if necessary.
Description:Scp-4037 is a black #(0f0f11) presumably metal ingot showing traces of dark violet #(482152) discoloration.
While showing similar properties to non-precious metals such as Lithium,Titanium and Kalium
Scp-4037 displays multiple anomalous properties.
The first of these being the ingots reaction to temperature:
if there is an incline in temperature raising Scp-4037 temperature above 0 degrees Celcius it will unconditionally harden to a point near invulnerability.
Otherwise if the temperature of Scp-4037 experiences a decline the ingot will start to melt while still maintaining its temperature.
Additionally the mass of Scp-4037,even in its liquid state never seperates and always maintains the same weight and density.This is also belived to be the reason Scp-4037 does not posses a gaseous state since this would certainly change mass and density as well as seperate Scp-4037.
Scp-4037 has also been observed "regenerating" any misplaced matter within 24 hours researches belive this is thanks to [DATA EXPUNGED].
Addendum:Following the observation of the resillience of scp-4037 05 has ordered multiple tests to determine usability of Scp-4037 in containment.
