Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Safe
Special Containment: SCP-XXXX must be kept inside of a 6x6x9 meter room with a viewing area at the top of the room. Two armed personnel must be stationed at all times.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a 4x4x3 meter basin made of Amphibolite rock filled with a highly viscous maroon-colored liquid(from this point now referred to as SCP-XXXX-1). The inside of the basin is porous, and SCP-XXXX-1 will seep from these orifices when any amount is removed until SCP-XXXX-1 occupies at least 80%(See Addendum-1) of SCP-XXXX's volume. Scans are unable to determine where SCP-XXXX-1 is formed or originates from within SCP-XXXX.
All objects and organisms that come into contact with SCP-XXXX-1 will become "linked", and after no further subjects are linked for two minutes, all linked subjects will undergo a physical transformation and obtain one or more physical traits from every other linked subject.
Any affected subject belonging to the Chordata phylum(before the transformation) will become hostile after transformation, though are generally too deformed to be classified as a threat.
SCP-XXXX was found inside of a cave system in ████████ County, Montana. SCP-XXXX was found resting atop a rectangular stone base inside a large chamber of the cave, reaching a height of 16.7 meters. Around the foundation lay an excess of human bones and cloth. Tests of the remains date them back to 4000+ years old.
An inscription on the base which SCP-XXXX rested on was roughly deciphered:
A similar inscription was later found at the bottom of SCP-XXXX, underneath SCP-XXXX-1:
