Special Containment Procedures: SCP-1880 is to be kept in a standard containment chamber that has been modified to release sulfur into the chamber every five minutes. SCP-1880 is to be kept under constant surveillance and not to be approached without a Heavy Shock Team present and masks.
If SCP-1880 is to get aggressive, the researcher is to exit chamber and the Heavy Shock Team is to follow without taking eyes off SCP-1880. If SCP-1880 is to become extremely aggressive and attack anyone, the Heavy Shock Team is to dispose of it and a removal team is to bring it to to the disposal floor.

Description: SCP-1880 is an extra-terrestrial bipedal humanoid that stands at a little over 1.5 meters. It has pale grey and its eyes are a swirling pattern of red and white. Its body is proportionate to that of a human's although its limbs seem to have an unproportionate amount of muscle. It is noted that SCP-1880 can cover itself in a thick mucus that will harden and become nearly impervious to physical damage, although sharp enough blades and enough electricity will be able to reach through the mucus.

SCP-1880 was found during an unlicensed a mining operation just 5 kilometers from Lunar Area-32. When a collapse happened twenty kilometers into section 2. Section 2 was evacuated and an extraction team was dispatched to clear the rubble so the operation could continue. They were shortly killed by an unknown factor and a second extraction team was sent along with a small security team.

They died afterward with only one agent surviving.

Agent Montgomery: "Jesus, this place stinks. What the hell is making that stench?"

Agent Marquis: "They just patched up a leak of sulfur two days ago, it should have cleared up yesterday, but the miners hit another sulfur pocket this morning."

Agent Ruby: "F*ckers couldn't find their way out of their mothers and now look where we are. Looking for them in an illegal mine on the F*CKING moon. Why the hell do we need guns for an extraction mission anyway?"

Agent Marquis: "In case it was an intentional collapse and we need to dispose of a few miners. Look out for that pothole Montgomery."

Agent Montgomery: "I know what I'm doing, we're coming up to the collapse right now. Start getting ready."

[Extraction team unloads rover and starts working on the collapse. Agents Marquis, Montgomery, and Ruby stand guard.]

Agent Montgomery: "How long is this going to take?"

Extraction Team Member: "About two hours at the least. We don't know how much rubble there is."

[There is a scream from the other side of the rover and a scamper of feet.]

Agent Ruby: "What the f*ck was that! Marquis, did you see what that was?"

Agent Marquis: "Looked like a person. Did any of the extraction team see anyone else outside the rover?"

Agent Montgomery: "Nobody reported seeing anyone."

Agent Ruby: [Screams and opens fire with her pistol] "What the hell is that? Everyone load back into the rover!"

[SCP-1880 attacks Agent Ruby and kills her with little struggle.]

Agent Marquis: [Opens fire with his rifle and runs to the rover] "F*ck f*ck f*ck!"

[SCP-1880 easily disposes of Agent Marquis and starts going for the extraction team. The extraction team scatters and SCP-1880 gives chase. Agent Montgomery gets in the rover and drives out.]

SCP-1880 has shown signs of having chimpanzee levels of intelligence. It can communicate via hand signals once taught. They seem to be a social creature and like being with each other but putting multiple in a standard chamber for too long only leads to them becoming more violent and attempting to escape or kill each other.

There are currently four SCP-1880's in our possession, each in individual chambers. There is a larger chamber being built to try and hold them together without having too many fights.

Multiple experiments have been conducted on them. Most with extraordinary results.

Experiment 1: Hunting Capabilities
SCP-1880-2 had been given no food for three days and then released into a secure reserve along with a Class-D personnel. Before starting the hunt, it was observed to be getting itself hyped up by pounding its palms against the ground and screaming. It waited until it was dark and then started moving in the exact direction of the prey. Within minutes with was able to find and kill the prey and started eating it.

Agents tried to collect it while it was eating and it showed heavy resistance towards the agents. Killing two more people and injuring one before it was finally disposed of. Other SCP-1880's seemed to sense its death in the facility and started becoming extremely violent and one was able to escape and killed three more personnel before being backed into its chamber.

Experiment 2: Breathing
SCP-1880s doesn't seem to breathe. When personnel started to deprive SCP-1880-1's cell of all gases and stopped the flow of sulfur. The SCP became increasingly aggressive and started pounding on the walls, but didn't stop for 3 full hours until sulfur was poured back into the chamber.

Test was performed on other SCP-1880s with the same results.

After this experiment, researchers took SCP-1880-2 from the previous experiment and cut it open. It didn't have any respiratory organs, but the rest of the major organs were similar to that of a human. Upon further inspection, the surgeons noticed that what seemed to be the veins of the creature, all connected to the stomach.

It is thought that the SCP-1880 lives solely on eating and nothing else.
