The gemstones consist of topaz, opal, diamonds, and various unidentified gemstones. The interior of the book is written with black ink, of which the majority of pages have not yet been read. The man claims to be the author of the book, claiming it is his "notebook". SCP-XXXX-1 refuses to answer any questions relating to the contents of the book, claiming it is "too dangerous for mortals". Interviewing is still in progress to gain more information. SCP-XXXX-1 can seemingly obtain knowledge at will, as seen in interview log 001. All affiliates with SCP-XXXX-1 that he has mentioned by name are either reported missing, or have been found dead.
Addendum XXXX: Interview Logs
Interview SCP:/XXXX/interviews/001.log
Interviewed: SCP-XXXX-1
Interviewer: Researcher ███
<Begin Log>
Researcher ███: Good evening. I am Researcher ███. I am here to ask some questions. Is this alright?
SCP-XXXX-1: No problem.
Researcher ███: So, we've noticed that any physical contact with your "book" has caused the book to fly open, and red flames seem to shoot out. Is there a reason for this?
SCP-XXXX-1: Erm, yes, but that's just the Eldritch,
Researcher ███: The what now?
SCP-XXXX-1 The Eldritch.
Researcher ███: Who is this "Eldritch" that you mention?
SCP-XXXX-1 Well, that's a long story. He's a big demon man that I fought a long time ago.
Researcher ███: Could you elaborate?
SCP-XXXX-1 I would, but if I did, that would pose a large cognitohazard for you, anyone who listens to the recording of this interview, and anyone in a 1 kilometer radius.
Researcher ███: I won't ask anymore questions then. Though, we would like to know about it. If we left you alone here with a recorder, could you say it into the microphone?
SCP-XXXX-1 I would, but I'd have flashbacks, and your "people" refuse to give me psychiatric aid.
Researcher ███: Sir, they are not qualified to give any.
SCP-XXXX-1 Could I get some from you then, Researcher ███?
Researcher ███: How did you know my name?
SCP-XXXX-1 I am not allowed to share that information.
Faint bickering continues, none of it recognizable. This continues for 5 minutes until the recording ends abruptly.
<End Log>Closing Statement: Researcher ███ refuses to re-enter site-██ after this interview. Any mentions of SCP-XXXX or SCP-XXXX-1 cause Researcher ███ to enter a state of psychosis, and will often times turn in the direction of SCP-XXXX's containment cell, and scream for up to 5 minutes, without passing out.
