Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Safe

Special Containment Procedures:
1. Due to the nature of the experiments done on SCP-XXXX, it is currently being stored at Site-88. Despite its potential sentience, after testing is concluded SCP-XXXX is to be sent to Site-77 for storage.
2. SCP-XXXX is to be kept in a locked room with windows showing the outside of the facility and windows to view it from outside the door. They are to be thick and strong to defend against any amount of force that might be put onto them by a subject. This room is to be guarded at all times.
3. SCP-XXXX is not to be touched by anyone without something to protect their hands and explicit permission.
4. If anything is to touch SCP-XXXX, they must be immediately locked within the room with SCP-XXXX for testing and to keep them from affecting anyone else.
5. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES IS SCP-XXXX OR ANYONE WHO HAS INTERACTED WITH IT TO BE LET OUT OF THIS ROOM.
6. Testing is currently prohibited due to SCP-XXXX's nature to gain more control over victims and get more aggressive the longer it is attached to organic material

Description: SCP-XXXX, or, the hand-me-downs are a wrinkled, brown pair of jeans that, once touched, will bond with the victim and become impossible to be removed from said victim's body. These pants also - as far as testing has gone - are indestructible. Despite attempts to cut them with lasers, rip them, explode them, and other methods of destruction, these pants are impossible to destroy. Furthermore, they appear to have a level of sentience and telekinesis. Subjects who wear these jeans may experience intense mood swings, do things they would never normally do, and over all act very strange.
It appears as though these changes persist as long as the subject is alive, or until someone else wears the pants, even if they are severed and the pants and are no longer connected to them.
Over time, victims have been shown to grow skin over the pants and absorb them into their bodies. The first victim, SCP-XXXX-1 had grown a full set of skin over the pants, and while the skin looked slightly strange and deformed due to the wrinkled pants underneath. After some testing, it appears that the layer of skin that was there before the jeans were put on is still present underneath
them. After several more tests on SCP-XXXX-1 were performed, SCP-XXXX-1 died due to a failed attempt to separate him from the jeans , and the parts of his legs that remained attached to the jeans were promptly incinerated.
Despite many attempts, it is impossible to bond SCP-XXXX with any material that isn't organic. As of this article being written, SCP-XXXX has been bonded with seven D-Class Personnel (SCP-XXXX-1, SCP-XXXX-2, SCP-XXXX-3, SCP-XXXX-4, SCP-XXXX-5, SCP-XXXX-6, and SCP-XXXX-7), a dog (SCP-XXXX-8), and a tree (SCP-XXXX-9).
All seven were tested thoroughly. Very similar behavior was exhibited between the humans and dogs, although the tree - despite absorbing the pants - never grew another layer of bark. The jeans just absorbed through the bark, and appeared to have no effect on the tree, or anything related to it.
Due to the pants being completely air tight when worn by a human, waste must be removed from people differently and they must have tubes attached to them to remove any waste, rather than the natural way.
The previous owners of the jeans don't know where they originally came from, all they know is that these jeans have been handed down through the generations, and they would go missing every once in a while, only to be found lying around again shortly after someone's funeral. If these are the unfortunate people who put on these jeans and were bonded to them, then the question is how the jeans would have been removed from the host and be placed somewhere in their owner's house.
On two separate occasions, SCP-XXXX has been missing, only to be found later lying once again somewhere within the house of the previous owners, and those were shortly after the death of SCP-XXXX-1, and shortly after the death of SCP-XXXX-8. It's speculated that the jeans are somehow connected to that family, which would explain why it happened with SCP-XXXX-1, but the same thing happening with SCP-XXXX-8 does not yet have an explanation
Camera footage doesn't show SCP-XXXX moving whatsoever, even after it was gone. when people walked into the room, they were still shown, but SCP-XXXX remains in the photo. Any attempt to touch whatever area SCP-XXXX was in results in the camera showing them moving the jeans as though they were normal jeans, meaning SCP-XXXX is capable of interfering with technology - specifically recording devices - to change what it shows, specifically to make it seem as though it never moved away from that point.
There's no doubt that several people with the wrong intention could weaponize these pants. With them being immune to everything that humanity can possibly throw at them, they could reasonably defend someone from all sorts of weapons. Despite this, there are currently no known shirts, socks, or helmets that function similarly. Therefore, they can only be used as a weapon in very specific circumstances, and ones that are very unlikely to occur in a windowed room with no access outside except for a door that remains heavily guarded and almost always locked whenever something that could move SCP-XXXX is inhabiting it.

Below this are the highlighted journal entries written by the first three humans (SCP-XXXX-1, SCP-XXXX-2, and SCP-XXXX-3) to be tested with SCP-XXXX. The latter two were also interviewed, but for various reasons, SCP-XXXX-1 wasn't considered safe or understood enough to let an interviewer inside.

SCP-XXXX-3:

The four other humans that were tested were part of two experiments looking to see:
1. The difference in behavior between someone stuck alone in a chamber wearing SCP-XXXX, and someone in an identical chamber but isn't wearing SCP-XXXX
2. What happens if multiple people are attached to SCP-XXXX simultaneously.
