Telepathic communicators changed everything. Breakthroughs in scientific technology opened doors for new containment procedures and even explained SCPS. With such a drastic shift in capability and knowledge, it marked the advent of a new age for the foundation.
SCP-682 was on his 563rd containment breach, SCP-049 had finally found a cure to the Pestilence, SCP-106 had been missing for nearly 50 years, and SCP-096 was terminated back in '83. Despite the time that passed, some things just remained the same in the foundation.
Dr. Hallows entered the room- Dr. Shaun Hallows that is. A descendant of one of the top scientific bloodlines within the foundation, this Dr. Hallows had only recently been initiated and given O2 clearance. He walked past the security guards and sat down in his chair. Dr. Hallows tried to make himself comfortable but it was no use. Today was one of the largest days in the Foundation's history, Dr. Bright was going to unveil a brand new method of telepathic communication.
"Good morning, all." Dr. Bright smiled.
The sound of the air conditioning was all that filled the room.
"Alright then," he paused and surveyed the room, "Well I have some very exciting news. The lab boys have successfully reworked our standard issued genetic manipulator to pick up and track neurological activity." he smiled again and looked around the room. "That's awesome isn't it?"
