Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be stored in Area-44 in a large isolated warehouse with ceilings a minimum of 15 meters above the ground. It should be suspended from the ceiling by large, 20 centimeter thick, suspension cable at intervals of every five (5) meters across the top of the vehicle. In addition, it must be suspended directly above rail tracks that extend, at maximum, 1 meter past the full length of the vehicle. At both ends of the track, there should be concrete blocks, a minimum of 10 meters thick. At one end of the track, past the concrete, there should be a large reinforced steel gate.

The warehouse should be completely void of any and all sources of electrical power, voiding small (AA, AAA) batteries. There should be no lights placed inside the warehouse and no windows on the building itself. It is permissible, that there be any number of observational devices placed inside of the warehouse, however, these devices should be placed as far from the vehicle as possible, and MUST be powered only by AA or AAA batteries.

Any personnel assigned to SCP-XXXX may enter into the warehouse when they are assigned to do so, however, before doing so must be thoroughly patted down at either Warehouse-Checkpoint-1 (WC-1) or Warehouse-Checkpoint-3A (WC-3A). After patting down all electronic devices must be removed and any class D personnel must be accompanied by no less than three (3) agents with level 2 security clearance. For non class D personnel, the may be accompanied by no less than two (2) agents with level 2 security clearance. At no point should any personnel enter into the warehouse unaccompanied, and in the event that anyone does gain unaccompanied access into the warehouse one of the security teams located at WC-2 or WC-3B shall immediately enter into the warehouse and remove the affected individual and a medical team shall administer a class-A anesthetic. In the case that the individual is unable to be removed, they should be immediately terminated and their body removed.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a German-style Intercity express high-speed train. It has been observed to have anywhere from 11-14 cars, the origin, and removal of these cars is unknown. The vehicle is capable of taking any electrical power from its surroundings, and use said power to achieve a variety of tasks, such as moving at speeds up to ███km/h, creating new track in front of it, and violently shaking the vehicle. How it is able to harness the energy remains unknown.

After the events of incursion one (see addendum XXXX.1),resulting in the deaths of ███ D personnel as well as ████ civilians, all power into and out of the vehicle and its surrounding area has been strictly controlled.

As well as this, SCP-XXXX is known to have two (2) beings inside of the vehicle, from here on these will be known as SCP-XXXX-1 and SCP-XXXX-2.

SCP-XXXX-1 is a dark figure, seemingly human in appearance, normally found sitting near the front of the train, he is often simply referred to, at his will, as "Herr. Dr. Schwarz". He has been approximated to be anywhere from ██ to ███ years old and has never been observed in any other position than sitting. He is capable of basic speech yet is only able to speak German, and some heavily accented French. This means all personnel who make contact with Herr. Dr. Schwarz must speak fluent German. During all of the ██ incursions, he has been seen every time and verbal conversing has been achieved █ times.

Due to the restrictions on power inside of the warehouse and vehicle, all conversations with SCP-XXXX-1 are recorded on an old tape recorder, the video is recorded using a 16mm hand held film camera. These are both then recovered after the incursion by members of MTF-BahnBüro-11.

Foreword: This is a transcript of incursion █, from ██-██-████ at ██:██ GMT. The incursion was performed by D-43981, who was from this point will be referred to as the subject. The subject was given no knowledge of the vehicle or its contents before being placed inside car number 3, he was given only a flashlight (powered by 2 AAA batteries) and the audio-video recording equipment. The audio and video were successfully recovered ██ days after the incursion. The transcript has been translated from German to English by Researcher ███████.

<Begin Log>

The subject's view is completely dark with barely visible more than approximately one meter in front of him without the use of his small flashlight. It should be noted the windows are translucent from inside and the subject can see minimal features of the warehouse as he shines his light out of the window. Despite this, camera ██-B located on the opposite wall still observers fully opaque windows and does not observe any increase in lumens from the windows in car 3.

The Subject: Who are you?

The Subject turns to reveal SCP-XXXX-1 staring directly at the subject, sitting in a rear-facing seat in the front of the car. The subject shines his light on SCP-XXXX-1 yet SCP-XXXX-1 remains extremely dark and only a shadow of a figure can be made out.

SCP-XXXX-1: My name is Herr Doctor Schwarz. Who are you?

The Subject: My name is █████ ████████ from ████████, what is this place?

SCP-XXXX-1: It is a train.

The Subject: I know but why is it…

SCP-XXXX-1 They are not here.

The Subject: Who is not…

It is at this point that infrared camera ██-█ detected a █-degree temperature increase in car 14, the last car in this case. It was also noted that 2 of the 7 light sensors observing the rear of the vehicle observed an increase of 5.8 lumens in car 14.

SCP-XXXX-1: Sie. (sic)

PAUSE LOG

Researcher ███████ would like to note that the word "sie" in the German language can be used as the word for both she, they, and formal you. This word with such little context is non-translatable.

RESUME LOG

The Subject: What do you mean by sie? (sic)

SCP-XXXX-1: I am very sorry. They were not quick enough.

The Subject: What are you talking about?? Who was not quick enough?!?!

At this moment, all observational light sensors began tracking the source of light moving from car 14 towards the front of the train at a rate of approx. 3.7 m/s. This was accompanied by a rapid increase in the lumens being emitted, up from 5.8 lumens to ███ lumens. This is believed to be SCP-XXXX-2

The Subject: Why are we moving?

Both of the video and audio equipment with The Subject pick up a low vibration inside the train and it begins to shake. SCP-XXXX-2 is now in the area between cars 9 and 10.

SCP-XXXX-1: Sie. Sie. Sie. Sie. (sic)

The Subject: WHO!?!

The vehicle is now shaking violently and the wheels begin to move, yet the train is suspended above the track, therefore, all real movement is impossible. However, inside the vehicle, The Subjects view reveals that through the windows, the train does begin to move through the walls of the warehouse and is moving rapidly through the train tracks that extend through the warehouse gate. All cameras can ensure this is not in fact happening. How this is achieved remains unknown.

SCP-XXXX-1: I am sorry. You are too slow. She is coming. (Es tut mir lied. Du bist zu langsam. Sie kommt jetzt.)

SCP-XXXX-2 is now almost at car 3.

The Subject: Shit.

The Subject's view turns to face the rear of the car where a blinding white light is visible. The Subject's camera is dropped to the ground and he can be heard running towards the front of the train. The camera is then immediately picked up by SCP-XXXX-1 and placed in front of him. The view is a closeup of SCP-XXXX-1's extremely dark face, the only features visible are small amounts of grey in his eyes and the slight grey wrinkles around his mouth and nose.

SCP-XXXX-1: I am very sorry. But he is ours now.

The view remains a close up of SCP-XXXX-1's unchanging face, not even blinking. The subjects screams can be heard for the next ███ minutes. After which the batteries on the audio recorder died. The camera view remains on SCP-XXXX-1's face for the next ██ hours. After which it runs out of film.
It is interesting to note that through the entire recording process after the presumed death of The Subject, the view outside the vehicles window by SCP-XXXX-1 remain moving, however all of the views and tracks that are seen could not be found or tracked in the real world. All observational sensors reported a total drop in all light, vibrations, and movement of the wheels, the second that the audio recorder died.

Discovery The vehicle was first brought to Foundation attention when on ██-██-2015 at 11:43 GMT, the route designated ICE-758 arrived into the Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof and unloaded approximately 50 people, while ██ people got into the vehicle. The vehicle then departed North out of Frankfurt. However at approx. 12:55 GMT the vehicle was reported to be stopped on the tracks, in track section 34-W by citizens in the village of ███████.

Police reported to the scene and noted that all doors on the vehicle were shut and unable to be opened, and the vehicle appeared completely dark and that all lights inside the train were off with the exception of car number 7 which emitted a dim white glow. This glow did not illuminate the inside of the train and repeated attempts to shine lights through the windows were not successful at illuminating the train.

It is at this point that multiple foundation agents inside of the Bundespolizei became aware of the situation and attended the scene. The agents attempted to pry open the doors yet to no avail. At 13:56 GMT, Foundation-Satellite ██-███ sensed a slow, but very intense power draw leading from the surrounding power grid into SCP-XXXX. Word was sent to a medical team, who soon arrived and administered Class-B Anesthetics to all who were in attendance. They then placed all of the locals into a bar, under the approval of Dr.█████ who stated: "This feels like a normal thing for Germans to do, even at 2 pm…"

It is at this point that MTF-BahnBüro-11 was hastly brought together from members of other MTFs in the area.
