I work primarily in traditional media, usually starting with a pencil sketch, which will at minimum get cleaned up with black ink linework (Staedtler or Sakura Micron pens). After that, I may choose to shade with hatching/linework, or to go the color route, either with markers (I use Sharpies and Prismacolors, mostly), or colored pencils (also Prismacolor). When I feel like drawing something looser, I'll use ballpoint, starting with a red pen sketch, which I then clarify the details of in black, blue, and/or purple ink. Though I'm limited by my workspace, I also sculpt and make costumes. My favorite artistic subjects are creatures, monsters, and monstrous humanoids, and folks in ethnic/historical clothing, real or invented.

Special Containment Procedures: Personel interacting with SCP-XXXX-A are to wear noise-cancelling headphones to avoid its compulsive effect. SCP-XXXX-A is kept in a designated Level 3 greenhouse, with soil nitrogen content maintained at a level such that it does not require animal feeding. A varied selection of fruit, nuts, and other plant matter are to be put out daily for SCP-XXXX-C, with appropriate animal protein provided on a bi-weekly basis. Description: SCP-XXXX-A is an individual of a previously unknown species of the Nepenthaceae family, or pitcher plant. It differs from other Nepenthes most noticeably in its size, with a trap measuring 148 cm deep, with an opening 106 cm wide. For comparison, the largest known naturally occurring pitcher plant, Nepenthes rajah, can grow traps up to 41cm deep by 20cm wide. In addition to non-anomalous visual and scent-based attractors, SCP-XXXX-A exhibits a mild auditory compulsion effect, produced by distortions in sound reflected from the unique cuticular folds of its lid. This compulsion seems to target higher order primates, including humans. Testing on D-Class has revealed that this compulsion is fairly easily thrown off, but induces a curiosity about, and a desire to enter SCP-XXXX-A's trap.

Within the trap is a viscoelastic fluid, consistent with the digestive fluid of other Nepenthes. Non-living organic material, and living things weighing less than 2 kg are trapped and digested normally by the fluid. However, when a living creature weighing more than 2 kg breaks the surface of this fluid, it is transported to an extra-dimensional space, designated SCP-XXXX-B.

SCP-XXXX-B is a space of unknown dimension, characterized by shallow salt-water pools scattered across a solid, rocky surface resembling opalized wood. The opal-like inclusions continuously emit light in the range of 340-570 nm, illuminating SCP-XXXX-B to a level of 20-40 lux at ground level. Temperatures within SCP-XXXX-B range from 25°C to 28°C, and humidity remains around 95%. Spotlight-equipped aerial drones have failed to discover an upper limit to the space.

Subjects entering SCP-XXXX-B emerge from a pool visually similar to the other pools present in the space. Testing has revealed that D-Class entering SCP-XXXX-B are often too disoriented by the transition to perform an effective exploration of the space, necessitating the use of drones for this purpose. Drones equipped with UV sensitive cameras have revealed that the exit-pool is ringed in distinctive markings which reflect short-wave UV light, invisible to primates, but likely visible to SCP-XXXX-C.

SCP-XXXX-B is inhabited by a colony of Birgus latro, or Coconut Crab, designated SCP-XXXX-C. Adult SCP-XXXX-C seem to exist in a mutualistic relationship with SCP-XXXX-A, clearing its trap of undigestible debris, and benefiting from a protected area to nest and to raise their young in SCP-XXXX-B. The abundance of defleshed proboscis monkey, orangutan, and human remains in SCP-XXXX-B suggests that animals enticed by SCP-XXXX-A's compulsion effect also serve as a supplementary food source for SCP-XXXX-C.
