Item #: SCP-4456
Object Class: Euclid
Containment Procedures: SCP-4456 is to be kept inside a 4 x 6 m room which is to be furnished with a bed, night stand, two (2) easels with canvases on them, and a drawing desk. Subject is not allowed to come in contact any tools which could be used to draw or paint under any circumstances, except when directly viewed for testing. When interacting with SCP-4456 all personnel are forbidden to bring Keter class SCPs or events pertaining to Keter class SCPs (Addendum-1).
In order to promote better behavior and cooperation in the detainment of SCP-4456 is allowed drawing or painting tools on a bi-weekly basis. While they are drawing or painting two (2) class D personnel are to keep watch on what they are drawing or painting then report on what it afterwards. (interview log-1).
Description: SCP-4456 appears to be Female African American between ages 20-25 and approximately 1.72 meters in height. Subject is unremarkable by most means, except that they have a changing paint marks on them which differs each time they come into contact with a art tool. The marks are seemingly at random and will appear on them whether the tool is a paint brush or writing. Subject is typically dressed in jeans and a pastel colored hoodie, and is often seen with sunglasses on the subjects head.
When given art tools, Scp-4456 has the ability after drawing to reach inside the the artwork and remove what is inside the drawing to pull it from the canvas. Objects which are taken from the canvas have no know time in which they degrade, after two (2) years time has passed the objects rapidly degrades and turn into paper before collapsing into a pile.
A list of items that SCP-4456 has both drawn and painted, then retrieved from a canvas:
- Fork, made of plastic
- Spoon, made of silver
- Ruler
- Stapler, with no staples
- Hand mirror
- Thermos
- Umbrella
- Shoes
- Chain of paper clips, numbering five (5)
Tests proved inconclusive about the nature of where these object come from. Further testing has also shown uncertainty to whether or not an object can be created and removed within one another. I.e., objects within a bag or other containment apparatus.
Objects which are created through this process are to scale of what size they are drawn at. Multiple papers next to each other which are part of the same drawing proved to be inconclusive. Objects drawn at a great scale or over multiple sections of drawing can still be taken from the canvas. If an object is drawn overtop of another, it creates a layer in which SCP-4456 can reach behind the other object and grab the item behind instead of the one that's seen.
Test before and after the creation of organics are recorded in interview log-2.
After being detained in 20██ after several months began to develop signs of chronic dysthymia. To help improve the behavior and stop possible future problems, SCP-4456 was introduced to SCP-999. No behavioral problems have been introduced in the continuing dysthymia, however subject has requested to see SCP-999 on a common basis, approved on a monthly basis.
Addendum-1:
Keter class SCPs will not be given reference, due to if the SCP is an inanimate object or something with a semi sentience. If it drawn is drawn by SCP-4456, then taken from the canvas gains the same anomalous properties as the original.

< Begin Log, [Log recorded on 7/█/20██] >
Dr. G██████: Good afternoon, 4456 I am Dr. G██████, I would like to ask you a few questions.
SCP-4456: I. Have. A. Name.
Dr. G██████: Yes, you do, Ms. ██████, however as of your detainment you have received a number. Do you understand your situation?
SCP-4456 doesn't respond but nods slowly.
Dr. G██████: Alright, I'll begin with my questions, how long have you had your anomalous ability with your drawing.
SCP-4456 glares at Dr. G██████
Dr. G██████: Do you need me to repeat the question?
SCP-4456: …
Dr. G██████: How about this you answer my questions and cooperate, then twice a month you can draw whatever you wish under direct supervision.
Dr. G██████ then slides his notes page across the table and flips it over, then passes his pen across as well.
Dr. G██████: You can draw while we talk if it would make you more comfortable.
SCP-4456 slowly takes the page and pen and begins to sketch a pencil, before taking it from the page and using it to draw instead of the pen.
SCP-4456: …I've had my ability for as long as I can remember.

Dr. G██████: Hello 4456 how are you doing today
SCP-4456: Good, is there a test today?
Dr. G██████: Someone took into notice that all prior test were with inanimate objects so instead today I'd like to ask you to draw some fruit instead.
SCP-4456 look concerned for a moment before nodding
A Class D personnel carrying a series of art supplies enter the room and places the tools on the table before exiting.
Dr. G██████: How about we start something simple, say a banana.
SCP-4456 takes several colored pencils and begins to draw. After 4 minutes SCP-4456 reaches inside the paper and as the Banana is taken out of the page, both begin to gag and cough. The banana was incinerated do to its intense rotting over a rapid time period. This experiment is performed several other times with different fruit all resulting in the same effect.
