Item #: SCP-5138

Object Class: Apollyon-Euclid

Special Containment Procedures: At the moment, there is no way for the foundation to contain 5138 due to the size of the SCP and distance from reach. Movements by SCP-5138 are rare to witness and are always over before it is observed due to the distance of approximately 2.47 Million light years away. 5138 remains dormant apart from this, resulting in no reason exactly to fear it.

Description: SCP-5138, discovered by Researcher: Dr ████, appears to be a blurry white figure stretching from one to five light years in size, hence why it cannot be contained. It is located in human view through powerful telescopes pointed at the Andromeda galaxy, directly North from it.

5138 Is a dormant creature, perhaps even a dormant deity in space without a need to breath, sleep, eat or drink, it remains perfectly still and is currently locking its large black, circular eyes on sight with Earth, as if it is watching the planet like a guardian. No movement have been reported since five years after its discovery in 1999, since then, it has remained perfectly still.

Level two and up personnel have permission to observe SCP-5138 at any point in time as long as they are not currently busy with another task, testing will resume with the construction of the 5138 shuttle, coursed to visit the anomaly in person.

Normal behaviour of SCP-5138 is remaining stationary in its position in the constellation with its gaze focused directly on Earth, any difference in behaviour or change in position, movement, new direction of gaze, etc… is to be reported immediately.

SCP-5138 Addendum 1: 1999, A large, blurry object was reported found by SCP Researcher Dr ████ in the constellation of Andromeda. It was not reported to look like a supernova or galaxy, instead it seemed almost humanoid, further research will be done.

SCP-5138 Addendum 2: 2004, Newly classed as SCP-5138, was reported moving, similarly to that of a human, however, it’s appearance suggests otherwise. This object has not been observed making visible motions since discovery. 5138 seemingly turned its gaze directly towards Earth, almost as if it knew it was being watched.

End of log.
