SCP-XXXX
rating: 0+x

Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Keter

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX must be kept within a large, glass, sound-proofed box. No less than three (3) Level 4 personnel must stay within the room the box is kept in, in order to observe SCP-XXXX. Personnel outside the box must remain silent, speaking softly or not at all.

In the event that SCP-XXXX is alerted to the presence of personnel, it will attempt to escape the box. The creature is strong, and the box will not hold, despite efforts to reinforce the box. If the creature is attempting to escape the box, procedure 207-3A will activate, releasing the creature from the box so that it is not destroyed. An alarm will then sound, which will play until the creature is rendered unconscious. If procedure 207-3A is not automatically activated, Level 4 personnel must manually activate via a control panel on the west wall. If the procedure is not activated, and SCP-XXXX manages to escape, it must immediately be terminated.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a large creature of unknown classification, although it most closely resembles a reptile. Its species varies in size from three meters long and one meter tall, to ██████ meters long and ██████ meters tall. SCP-XXXX itself is twenty-one meters long and eight meters tall, which SCP-XXXX-2 was four meters long and two meters tall prior to its termination.

The SCP has six rear tentacles, which it uses to assist movement. Four tentacles are about 1/3 of the SCP's length, and two are about 1/2 the SCP's length. SCP-XXXX also has two arms, each ending in four appendages resembling fingers, which appear to be sharp enough to pierce flesh.

The SCP has two mouths, one on top of the other. Within each mouth are two rows of teeth, the size of which varies greatly. The largest tooth is six inches long, and the smallest tooth is two inches long. Each mouth has a long tongue which resembles a rat's tail, which vibrates when the SCP attempts to communicate.

SCP-XXXX-2 is the same species as SCP-XXXX, however it is a corpse. SCP-XXXX-2 has already had an autopsy performed (see Addendum [5314-03]).

Addendum [5314-01]: Initial capture report.

Time: 3:16 AM
Date: 02/04/████
SCP-XXXX and SCP-XXXX-2 were obtained in an abandoned mining town in ██████, Canada. SCP-XXXX-2 had been terminated by [Data Expunged] in an act of self-defense. [Data Expunged] had also subdued SCP-XXXX by unknown means. Experiments will be conducted as to the cause.

Addendum [5314-02]:

Test A - 06/04/████
Subject: SCP-XXXX
Procedure: Response to audio stimuli. SCP-XXXX was exposed to an alarm with a volume of 50dB.
Results: Upon activation of the alarm, SCP-XXXX froze in place, and it appeared to be agitated. After three minutes and 14 seconds, SCP-XXXX was rendered unconscious.
Analysis: XXXX's advanced hearing causes it to be sensitive to extreme sounds. When extreme sounds are played for a long enough amount of time, 5314 will be rendered unconscious. This would allow for easier containment and, if necessary, transportation or termination.

Addendum [5314-03]:

Test B - 07/04/████
Subject: SCP-XXXX-2
Procedure: Autopsy of recovered corpse; same species as SCP-XXXX.
Results: Initial autopsy of SCP-XXXX-2 proved difficult, as sharp tools were unable to pierce its skin. Once the skin was breached by use of extreme temperatures, it was discovered that SCP-XXXX has no internal structure. No skeleton, no organs, not even a brain.
Analysis: It is as of yet unknown what drives SCP-XXXX to be so aggressive. This test also clarifies why SCP-XXXX did not consume the corpses of its victims. Perhaps upon capture of SCP-████, it will be able to elaborate on its purpose.

Addendum [5314-04]:

Test C - 08/04/████
Subject: SCP-XXXX
Procedure: An animal test subject will be fed to SCP-XXXX.
Results: Upon introduction of the animal test subject, in this case a sheep, SCP-XXXX completely ignored it. Unfortunately, when introducing the animal test subject, Dr. ███ made too much noise, and SCP-XXXX tore her to pieces within seconds.
Analysis: When Dr. ███ was killed by SCP-XXXX, it did not consume her body. As such, we were forced to subdue the SCP to retrieve her remains as well as the animal test subject.

Addendum [5314-05]: Interview with Mr. █████, discoverer of SCP-XXXX.

Interviewed: Mr. █████

Interviewer: Dr. ███████

Foreword: Mr. █████ was brought into custody alongside SCP-XXXX.

<Begin Log, 08/04/████, 9:30 AM>

Interviewer: Good morning, Mr. █████. I hope you were able to rest well?

Mr. █████: Of course not. That cell you people threw me in was tiny as hell. Where am I anyway? Who are you people?

Interviewer: We are known as the Foundation. We're here to help. Now, what can you tell me about SCP-XXXX?
Mr. █████: You mean that thing? I have no idea.
Interviewer: Pardon me if I find that hard to believe. You did subdue it, after all. You also killed one.
Mr. █████: I didn't do anything. ███ is the one that killed it, and ██████ is the one that "subdued" the other one.
Note: Mr. █████ talks to Dr. ███████ with a sarcastic tone.
Interviewer: I see. So you have no idea how it was done?
Mr. █████: Sorry I can't help you figure out how to kill it.
Interviewer: You misunderstand. We already know how to kill it, we simply want more information on it.
Mr. █████: I can't help with that, either. I have no idea why or how [DATA EXPUNGED] made those things, and I don't want to know.
Interviewer: Wait, [DATA EXPUNGED]? Who is that?
Mr. █████: I don't know. He was [DATA EXPUNGED]. He was the one that killed ██████.
Interviewer: I see. I believe that is all for now.
<End Log, 9:46 AM>

Closing Statement: Following this interview, Mr. █████ was given an amnesiac, and was sent home to █████, ██.
