Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Keter

Special Containment Procedures: Because of the nature of SCP-XXXX complete containment is impossible. The foundation is instead working on predicting its movement and securing at-risk areas. This containment procedure lead to the establishment of a MTF-Epsilon-3 ("Blink")

When a living being see SCP-XXXX an instance of SCP-XXXX-2 is created. Instance of SCP-XXXX-2 are host to instances of SCP-XXXX-3. Instances of SCP-XXXX-2 should be stored together in a 10m by 10m by 10m room deprived of windows.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a visual cognition-hazard. When a living being sees SCP-XXXX it will automatically be petrified the victims are classified SCP-XXXX-2. SCP-XXXX-2s are host to SCP-XXXX-3 which are also visual Cognito-hazard with similar properties to SCP-XXXX.

SCP-XXXX is a 1000km in diameter eye surrounded by vein-like tendrils. While the color of SCP-XXXX’s pupil is unknown, the color of its eyelid is dull red. SCP-XXXX’s tendrils are of a translucent red color and appear to have a liquid flowing through them. SCP-XXXX uses its tendrils in a waving motion as if trying to use them to move.

The eye was first spotted by Dr.█████ when he was using site-3 super telescope in ██/██/19██. SCP-XXXX was found to blink consistently on a bi-monthly basis. The blink last 5 days. During this blink, SCP-XXXX can safely be seen all congnito-hazards being blocked out. MTF-Epsilon-3 researchers determined it to be 10 billion kilometers away from earth on ██/██/19██ its speed varies as it orbits by planets.

Instances of SCP-XXXX-2 appear normal with the notable exception of their eye which turn pearly black color. Instances of SCP-XXXX-2 are completely harmless however when a living being is petrified pores resembling SCP-XXXX classified as SCP-XXXX-3 appear on SCP-XXXX-2’s body.

SCP-XXXX-3 are of various size depending on their host’s approximate eyeball size. The veins surrounding the eyes are connected to the host’s circulatory system and SCP-XXXX-3 is dependent on the host to survive. SCP-XXXX-3 instances are on cycle with SCP-XXXX following the same blink schedule, SCP-XXXX-3’s eyelids take the color of the host’s skin color. recovered SCP-XXXX-2 instances have been seen to grow from 12-46 SCP-XXXX-3s. No method of determining how many instances will form has been discovered but it is assumed that SCP-XXXX-2 instances could host in excess of 100 instances of SCP-XXXX-3.

SCP-XXXX-3 instances share the anomalous abilities of SCP-XXXX. If an instance of SCP-XXXX-3 is pierced it will expel a warm red liquid resembling blood that upon contact with any surface will cause more instances of SCP-XXXX-3 to be created. This method of infection is not limited to living organisms. Instances of SCP-XXXX-3 should not be destroyed as it only causes more to spread. The mishandling of Dr.█████ as caused Site-3’s old astrology department to be indefinitely closed.

Addendum:

Note to O5 command.

As of ██/██/████’s blink event, we have determined that SCP-XXXX’s current movement predicts it too be visible with the naked eye on ██/██/████. Dr.███████’s chart as rarely been wrong and I would recommend a termination order to be placed on SCP-XXXX as soon as possible. This could be an XK end of the world event.

-Dr.████

Note too -Dr.████

Dr.████ termination order not granted. While something needs to be done about this termination does not seem like the soundest choice. Since we know SCP-XXXX-3 instance share a lot in common with SCP-XXXX we can not risk popping (find a better word) and having it create permanent SCP-XXXX sized SCP-XXXX-3 instances in space. You of all people should know not to mess with SCP-XXXX-3 instances after what happened with site (choose #)’s old astrology department. That was your chance if we have to quarantine an entire solar system Drastic action will need to be taken.

Document #XXXX-14:
██/██/████
researcher ██████
notes: SCP-XXXX appears to have drastically changed course as I spotted it in the █████████ system. SCP-XXXX's eyelid color also appeared to have changed from a dull grey to a tried red.

Document #XXXX-15
██/██/████
Dr.████
Notes: That's not SCP-XXXX as it was spotted on the same date in the █████ system by researcher ███. If this is what I think it is O5 is going to want to know about it.
