Special Containment Procedures: SCP-5519 is to be contained in a stone coffin measuring 1.7 metres (5'5") in length and 0.7 metres (28") in width. The coffin is to be placed in the middle of a purely white room, with no other entry or exit bar a door to the room's east side. The room should be constantly lit and measure 5 metres in length, height and width.
SCP-5519-1 and SCP-5519-2 are both to be kept alongside SCP-5519 within the coffin.
Description: SCP-5519 is a length of linen measuring 4.4 by 1.1 metres (14'5" by 3'7") bearing the image of a man, commonly believed to depict Jesus Christ. It has been observed that SCP-5519 lacks multiple indicators that would imply that it possesses mass, such as the lack of a feeling of pressure reported by a myriad of tested D-Class Personnel.
Multiple people have noted that SCP-5519 has a smell similar to fresh blood and burnt skin.
When under direct light, SCP-5519 does not appear to exert any anomalous properties. The same holds true for both SCP-5519-1 and SCP-5519-2. When not exposed to direct light, SCP-5519 appears to gain a limited sentience, and becomes capable of agile movement through an unknown method, though doesn't show any signs of higher thought. Despite its complete lack of any obvious or standard sensory organs, SCP-5519 appears capable of tracking things based on their temperature, although seems unable to differentiate one thing from another, with it appearing to be able to track anything above 30°C (86°F). This extends for a total radius of 5 metres in all directions.
When SCP-5519 takes notice of anything with a temperature of over 30°C (86°F) it will atempt to launch itself at the object and wrap around it, should its path be obstructed it will attempt to find a way around the obstruction; should it fail SCP-5519 will lose interest in that object for the duration that it remains inside of its vicinity.
SCP-5519 appears only interested in humans, when attached to any other creature or object it will quickly assess whether it is human or not; then retreat should it appear not to be. Why a human is required is as of yet unknown. When SCP-5519 identifies its target as human: it will constrict in a grasp that, despite its lack of pressure has shown to be incredibly resilient to any kind of applied force.
