Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Keter

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept in a 20 m x 20 m x 20 m airtight 1 m thick steel cube at all times. The interior of the chamber is to be lined with 10 cm thick acid-resistant steel plating on all viable surfaces, and the exterior is to be lined with 10 cm thick titanium plating. No personnel with a clearance level of or above 4 are to enter the chamber at any given time Under absolutely no circumstances, unless direct, written permission from the 05 Council is presented are any personnel to enter or, be forced to enter into SCP-XXXX's containment chamber while SCP-XXXX is both inside and unrestrained.

At least ten highly-trained security personnel are to be stationed around SCP-XXXX's containment chamber at all times and are permitted to terminate any unauthorized personnel who approach or attempt to open SCP-XXXX's containment chamber. Cameras being monitored by Foundation personnel 24/7 are to be placed around the containment chamber, and infared lasers are to scan the interior of the chamber for any damages or corrosion of note. If any personnel discovers damages or corrosion on either the interior or exterior of SCP-XXXX's containment chamber, they are to report to both 05 and the Site Director and to evacuate the premise immediately. SCP-XXXX is to be moved into a separate, temporary containment chamber of equal specifications until the repairs are finished. At least three separate containment chambers are to be ready and set to open in case of a breach event.

SCP-XXXX is to be fed a live, half-anesthetized cow twice a day, every day. Failure to properly anesthetize the cow beforehand may allow SCP-XXXX to gather enough strength to breach its containment chamber. If this ever happens, whoever is responsible is to be heavily reprimanded.

Re-containment Protocol: In the event of a Breach, Protocol 'Raj-Beta' is to be initiated. In accordance with the 'Raj-Beta' Protocol, the nearest MTF Squadron is to be called into the premises, and all other non-vital personnel are to evacuate the premise immediately. Failure to comply and leave the area will result in the personnel being heavily reprimanded. The entrance to SCP-XXXX Containment Chamber B is to be opened, and SCP-XXXX forced inside. If SCP-XXXX Containment Chamber B has corrosion, is damaged or otherwise not in a condition suitable for housing SCP-XXXX for the duration of repair, SCP-XXXX Containment Chamber C is to be used instead. This shall go down in consecutive order until Containment Chamber G. In the case Containment Chamber G is unsuitable, Protocol 'Raj-Alpha' is to be initiated.

All emergency doors connected to and surrounding SCP-XXXX's Containment Chamber are to be closed and secured. The MTF Squadron is then to locate SCP-XXXX and force it into it's Containment Chamber. It is impervious to all bullets except diamond-tipped ones. Diamond-tipped bullets are not to be used unless Protocol 'Raj-Omega' is initiated or it is deemed necessary. Any personnel who uses diamond-tipped bullets unnecessarily regardless of intent is to be delivered an A-Class Amnesiac and demoted to Class-D Duty.

All MTF Field Agents and Officers are to avoid direct eye-contact with SCP-XXXX unless completely necessary and preferably not to look at SCP-XXXX at all to prevent any possibility of freezing in fear. Specialized glasses which inhibit view and instead only show a heat-map of the surrounding area are preferred tools to observe SCP-XXXX. In the event a Personnel is overcome with fear at the sight of SCP-XXXX, the affected Personnel is to be deemed KIA and no attempt to retrieve them or block a direct line of sight between the affected Personnel and SCP-XXXX is to be made out of fear of angering SCP-XXXX.

In the event a Personnel breaks eye-contact with SCP-XXXX or overcomes their fear and escapes on their own and SCP-XXXX is angered or no suitable Containment Chamber exists, Protocol 'Raj-Alpha' is to be initiated. In accordance with Protocol 'Raj-Alpha', Site ██ is to enter lockdown and whatever room SCP-XXXX is in will be flooded with both light and hydrochloric acid. This sudden stimulation of the senses is known to cause SCP-XXXX to enter an unconscious state for days at a time. (For a list of Experiments Performed on SCP-XXXX, see Addendum XXXX-A.) During this time, the Containment Chamber is to be repaired if damaged and SCP-XXXX is to be deposited in it. This not to be done under any other circumstances out of fear of killing SCP-XXXX.

In the event the acid does not render SCP-XXXX unconscious or simply is not a viable option, Protocol 'Raj-Omega' is to be initiated and SCP-XXXX is to be shot with diamond-tipped bullets until dead or rendered a non-threat. This is a last-resort and no Personnel is to attempt this unless a direct order is given. Any personnel attempting to initiate this Protocol is to be terminated.

Description: SCP-XXXX is located in Site ██. SCP-XXXX is a large, spider-like creature of unknown origin. It’s body is large and oval shaped and has six large crab-like legs that protrude out from the sides of the body. The neck is unnaturally long and extends directly up from the body. SCP-XXXX’s head's facial features include two long ears and a nose that both resemble that of a rabbit’s, as well as human-like eyes completely devoid of pigment. SCP-XXXX’s jaw can open up to three times that of an average human’s and has a recorded biting power of up to 4500 Newtons of force. The inside of SCP-XXXX’s mouth contains hundreds of small, sharp teeth. SCP-XXXX has not shown to be sapient and functions mostly on instinct. It's movement is slow, and consists of awkward, jerky motions of it's legs.

SCP-XXXX has two glands on either side of it’s mouth, each producing different chemical compounds each that can be 'spat' at prey. The two chemicals consist of a highly sticky, viscous substance and a highly corrosive black liquid, hereby referred to as Chemical 1 and 2 respectfully. If SCP-XXXX makes direct eye-contact with any human being or animal (from now on being referred to as SCP-XXXX-1), SCP-XXXX-1 will experience intense terror and freeze in place. Some instances of SCP-XXXX-1 have been shown to be able to overcome their fear reaction and escape.

If SCP-XXXX-1 ever overcomes it's intense fear and escapes, SCP-XXXX will enter a rage state. In this rage state, SCP-XXXX can move up to 40 km/h. SCP-XXXX will usually catch SCP-XXXX-1 and [DATA EXPUNGED]. In the event SCP-XXXX enters into a rage state and catches SCP-XXXX-1, it is to be transferred into a separate, temporary containment chamber for the day and several D-Class Personnel are to be called in to clean up the mess.

SCP-XXXX will use this terror to freeze SCP-XXXX-1 in place and approach, before releasing wads of Chemical 1 to trap SCP-XXXX-1's limbs in an open, star-fish like formation, with each limb as far away from each other as possible. SCP-XXXX appears to 'consume' SCP-XXXX-1's fear, gaining both strength, energy, and nourishment from its terror.

SCP-XXXX will then proceed to break as many bones in the body as possible without killing it. Once all non-vital bones are broken, SCP-XXXX will begin to salivate Chemical 2 and dissolve all non-vital parts of SCP-XXXX-1's body, before finally salivating on its head, burning away the eyes and mouth before the saliva reaches the brain and kills SCP-XXXX-1. The reasoning for this seems to be that the more pain SCP-XXXX-1 is experiencing, the stronger the fear reaction.

Any personnel wishing to observe SCP-XXXX must have a Clearance Level of 3 or above or have direct, written permission from at least two on-site personnel with a Clearance Level of 4 or above. All personnel must undergo a thorough psychological examination beforehand. No D-Class Personnel are allowed to observe SCP-XXXX unless a direct order from 05 Command is presented.
