scp XXXX is a small pond located in Gettysburg [REDACTED], it is unsure weather a battle took place or due to the site history that SCP XXXX effects appear.

Description: SCP XXXX at first glance appears to be a normal looking pond, but upon subjects getting closer, namely 5 meters the effects of SCP XXXX begin to take hold, after passing the 5 meter threshold subjects begin to feel drawn to the pond, any attempts in stopping the subjects from getting closer to the pond results in the subject having violent behavior and homicidal action, subject claims to hear a soldier voice giving them orders to enter the pond, the voice also tells them that "their loved ones are there as well" and even gives the subject names of relatives close to them, close studies have shown that the soldier who ever he is Never Wrong on the relatives that he names off. After this initial effects happen the following effects of SCP XXXX start. - 3 minutes after first effect, subject enters the ponds until the water is past their knees, subjects claim that they see ghostly figures in the water swimming towards them slowly. Any attempt of the subject trying flee proves futile even when researchers are trying to pull them out or order them to exit the pond, staff have tried to send in another D-class personnel to pull out the subject, only to have the D-class fall under SCP XXXX effect as well. - 6 minutes after fist effect, subjects goes in deeper into the pond till the water is at their chest, subject claims that they can "hear" their loved ones calling them. Even with high powered microphones and state of the art listening devices, staff hear nothing, subjects also claim that the ghostly figures in the water tells the subject its time to make a choice, at this point for some odd reason the subject is able to "leave" the pond.
A) if the subject stays in the pond they go in deeper until the water is just below their head, subject then appears to age rapidly, a 25 year old male becomes a 85 year old male within seconds, subject then shouts out "they forced us all into the water" before disappearing underwater. Searches for the body of the subject have failed for there are is no trace of the subject.
B) If the subject does leave the pond they must be contained and held at all cost, they must be put into a cell that has no drains, no connection to water, or anything that can hold water (example buckets, cups, water bottles) staff must take precaution at all times while the subject is still alive, during this time Subjects have horrid dreams of the pond, claiming that "the pond and the ghost calls to them" subjects will also attempt to breach containment and go back to the pond, even if the site that they are at is states away from the pond, subjects have been known to leave containment and have walked all the way back to the pond to the point to where their feet have bled, how they have managed to leave containment is unknown due to camera failure, and guards leaving their post for unknown reasons. If the subject does make contact with any type of water be as drink, bath, shower, rain and yes even toilet water, the final stage of SCP XXXX is triggered, The subjects body starts to change of what appears to be a union soldier in uniform, subjects will be hostile to any person or being it comes into contact with, subject is armed with a 1855 Springfield musket with a bayonet attached to the end, any person stabbed or even scratched by the bayonet becomes SCP XXXX-2 with the same hostile tendencies. Subject appears to be "unkillable" with regeneration abilities, all methods of killing SCP XXXX or containing it at this point have failed. The only method that seems to have an effect on eradicating SCP XXXX and SCP XXXX-2 is nuclear detonation of the site. Any personnel stationed to that site is considered a loss.
