Gaol´s tarot

Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Safe

Special Containment Procedures: SCP XXXX is to be contained in a security box of at least 7 centimetres height, 5 widght and 12 length, and with 5 locks, with 5 keys given to 5 different level 5 Personnel. Experimentations with SCP XXXX requires the strict permission of the Personnel responsible of these keys.
Description: SCP XXXX is a wood box containing black Tarot cards corresponding to the Major arcana. The cards traces are made with white ink, with the exception of a word or a symbol with red ink in every card. Upon further analysis, it was discovered that the ink was made with an alloy of silver and an unknown metal. The red marks are conformed of [DATA EXPUNGED] and human blood.
SCP XXXX cannot be separated permanently: Every item disappears when not looked, and returns to the ubication of The Fool Card (SCP XXXX-1). SCP XXXX-1 however, doesn’t disappear, but when not looked, the remaining missing tarot cards appears beneath it in the designated order. If the wooden box disappears, next time SCP XXXX-1 is not looked, it will appear inside the Box.
Individuals without knowledge, under direct contact with SCP XXXX, present natural knowledge of tarot reads and every single meaning of each major and minor arcana, and lose memory of them after 5 minutes of finished interactions. However, individuals who were exposed previously with mayor tarot knowledge doesn’t seem to be affected by these characteristics. Every Tarot read and throw are without causalities, with the exception of the star throw, which seems to have a 100% accuracy in every aspect told by the Individuals reading them.

SCP XXXX was first found in [DATA EXPUNGED] in possession of [DATA EXPUNGED]. The individual claimed that the cards told him about the incident that was about to occur in [DATA EXPUNGED]. Days after the incident, SCP XXXX and the individual were contained in Site-xxx. Upon experimentation, it was concluded that the cards didn´t predict the incident, but they did cause it.

Experimentation

Experiment 1: SCP XXXX was separated and put into different rooms with constant surveillance. However, after 3 exact minutes, all cameras failed simultaneously, and SCP XXXX was reunited in the room containing SCP XXXX-1.

Experiment 8: 2 class D personnel were used: One in possession of SCP XXXX, and the second in a room with an armed guard. The procedures were that the first class D determined using SCP XXXX if the second were to live or die, and the armed guard should do the contrary. The class D the claimed that the D class was going to die in 2 more minutes. The guard proceeded to exit the room and leave the D class alone. After the 2 minutes passed, the D class died by unknow reasons. The Foundation members who carried out a post-mortem later that day were unable to identify the exact reason of death.
Experiment 32: A D class was ordered to give a different statement than the ones dictated by SCP XXXX. The cards showed a relative bad prediction, but the D class was ordered to say “I´m going to get a coffee”, however, he said “I´m leaving this facility now” followed by a nervous laugh. The D class then disappeared from the Facility. He is yet to be found.
Upon further experimentation it was concluded that SCP XXXX doesn´t follow the cards, but rather the words spoken by the individual who reads them.
