Special Containment Procedures: SCP-284 is to be contained in a 4*4*4 steel cat kennel. It is only to be released 2 times a day to feed, but other cats in the area must be taken out of the area immediately.

Description: SCP-284 appears to be a yellow feline of species Felis catus discovered at sight [DATA EXPUNGED] when a female researcher was complaining that her cat kept scratching himself and she couldn't tell what was happening. The researchers in the area looked into where the cat came from and what it could do. Apart from looking like an average cat, it would do anomalous things in the area to other cats. It has the ability to make any cats in the area of approx. 20-30m. uncontrollably scratch themselves for no apparent reason, to the point of where some have even died of blood loss.

Addendum:
Test # ██: SCP-284 was exposed to an Australian Shepard in order to see if SCP-284's properties could affect animals of different species entirely. The dog was fed, watered, and flea checked to prevent any inconsistencies.After 30 minutes the test was declared unsuccessful.
