Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be stored in a standard locked safe-deposit box. With access for testing requiring level 3 clearance or above. -See Experimentation log ELXXXX-01.

SCP-XXXX is to be stored in a tungsten carbide storage container and kept in high security storage at Site ██. Access requires written consent from two on-site researchers with Level 4 clearance. All movement of SCP-XXXX outside of its container should be done via a remotely controlled drone.

Only D-level personnel who have not previously interacted with Foundation staff may be used when testing SCP-XXXX. All test subjects must be nude or clothed in a material no thicker than 1mm.

All instances of SCP-XXXX-1 are to be incinerated after DNA verification is complete.

Any Foundation personnel attempting to use SCP-XXXX are to be detained for questioning before termination. -See Incident Report IRXXXX-07

Description: SCP-XXXX is a standard 203.2mm (8in) butcher knife produced by the █████████ company in 1987. The wooden handle appears to be worn by regular use and after testing is composed of hickory. The blade is composed of steel used by the manufacturer during 1987.

With the exception of the first 20mm of the blade (hereby referred to as the "tip"), SCP-XXXX can be damaged by any method that would damage a standard knife of it's make. The tip always shows signs of recent sharpening despite researchers efforts to blunt it. If any part of the knife is removed or damaged it will regrow at the rate of 1cm per 24 hours. Any regrowth stems from the tip and material removed from SCP-XXXX that does not include the tip will not retain the abnormal qualities of the parent object.

When used by a person to puncture a non-living object SCP-XXXX will begin to transmute the material into the flesh of the person the subject reviles most. The
