Description:
SCP-XXXX Is a relatively small, navy blue coloured, rectangular book, 18.76cm x 9.81cm in dimensions consisting of 42 pages. The book bares a hardcover of an unknown rubberised medium, with grey paper that resembles similar properties to synthetic plastics. The materials of the SCP are unknown with the absence of any publication, author or logos besides a small Spade symbol similar to that found on an Ace in a deck of playing cards, printed along a silk page marker connected inside the book. Although most of its composing material is hard and seemingly impervious to damage, it exhibits a weight several times lighter than Earths atmosphere, Causing the anomalous object to exhibit zero gravitational effect in most scenarios. The information documented within SCP-XXXX's Pages has not been recovered.2
The content of SCP-XXXX is not consumed by traditional means. Alternatively, once the book is opened, anyone in direct and indirect eye contact with any page of SCP-XXXX experiences periodic hallucinations and Cognito-Hazadarous visuals. SCP-XXXX's memetic pages rebuild the viewers conscious and neural networks resulting in the viewer identifying any living being as a threat to their own existence. Additional behaviours caused by SCP-XXXX are, but not limited to; Suicidal actions, psychosis, violent outbursts, pseudobulbar affect symptoms, irrational risks, amnesia, periodic hallucinations, depression, attention deficit disorder symptoms, and unnatural destruction and/or construction of frontal lobe, medial temporal lobe and cerebellum. There is no possible protection against the contents of SCP-XXXX, as glass, reflections, photographs or tinted eyewear do not counter-act the viewing process.
Those affect usually show aggression and uncontrollable hostility to any living creature present. Also, those affected by SCP-XXXX have shown to - If no other unaffected lifeforms are in range - turn on each other or commit suicide.
All sentient objects and/or personnel within 124.68 metres of SCP-XXXX experiences a sudden and overwhelming urge to view the book. These urges can be endured, but become more and more intense as time goes on and depending on how close the subject is to SCP-XXXX. Those affected by these urges will return to normal from 72 hours after leaving the designated radius of 250 metres.
Within the blinding Light, beyond the creeping shadows, There is no god.
