Special Containment Procedures: SCP-3277 is to be kept in a securely locked room and is only to be accessed by authorised personnel. To avoid SCP-3277 from absorbing any personnel or D-class personnel it is recommended that anyone or any SCP’s close to death are to be kept at a minimum distance of 50 feet from SCP-3277.
Description: SCP-3277 appears to be a 9cm chunk of a Tanzanite crystal. The crystal appears to have never been cut and instead seems to have only been carefully extracted from its point of origin, which at this time is unknown. SCP-3277 has however appeared to have a small piece broken off however the foundation is in position of this piece.
SCP-3277 has shown to possess an ability to bring forth creatures that seem to represent humans as well as a wide variety of animal species, which would seem can be manipulated by anyone that has SCP-3277 on their person. These creatures appear to be a semi-transparent white colour. Because of this anomaly extensive testing was done with SCP-3277. When the first human-like creature, named SCP-3277/A, was used it was unresponsive to anyone other than the holder of SCP-3277. An amount of 34 human-like creatures were brought forth while a larger amount of 77 animal like creatures were able to be brought forth before SCP-3277 was unable to bring forth anymore anomalies.
From what information was gathered of SCP-3277 from the previous owner’s journal it is said that SCP-3277 is able to absorb the spirit/soul of any living creature that dies, with SCP-3277 being present, whether they are human or animal. These captured spirits can be manipulated to obey the holder’s will within realistic expectations. The journal further states that each captured spirit can only be used once as once a spirit is used it is set free of its prison (AKA SCP-3277).
History: Further studies into the possible history of SCP-3277 revealed that it or an object with similar properties was owned and used by many so called witches and even forgotten leaders alike.
Procurement: SCP-3277 was found inside a small stone bunker well hidden in the Japanese forest Aokigahara or more commonly known as The Suicide Forest. Reasons for SCP-3277 to be in this locations would seem to be obvious. After the foundation has received a report of people disappearing in groups of 4 people near the location of the bunker the agents were sent to investigate. Reports say that horrifying screams could be heard emanating from the bunkers location.
