Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Safe

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept inside of an air-locked, moisture sealed container. SCP-XXXX may be taken outside of the container, any personal acquiring SCP-XXXX must be using a medium as to not come into direct contact with the SCP. SCP-XXXX also must not come into contact with a liquid of any kind.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a half blue and white bar made of pumice rock. On the white side of the bar there is wording inscribed depicting “Blister Blight Bar”, all attempts at investigating this brand of pumice bar have been futile. SCP-XXXX seems to react harshly to any liquid interaction other than water despite being made of normal pumice.SEE ADDENDUM XXXX-1. Upon contact with the bar will cause a blister the next day, the blister will then fester and grow for exactly a month. The blister once having festered for exactly one month will then pop.

According to test subjects peeling the skin the blister causes isn't painful until you get down to the last pieces, it will then reveal a small spot of flesh, this is described as the most painful and annoying part of the blister cycle as it makes it hard for those affected to use the spot that the blister spawned on if it is in contact with anything such as, cloth. The blisters have appeared to both contain fluid and be completely dry, the average size of the blisters are around 3 inches in a distorted oval shape.

The foundation became aware of SCP-XXXX after three agents were having routine examinations performed upon them, all of them having a similar looking blister in various parts of their bodies. Positions of the blisters seemed to be random, covering parts of an arm, toe, and genitalia. Doctors corroborating with the agents effected determined the only location outside of Site-XX that the agents had visited as a group, was "NAME" Spa. All three agents had gotten the same treatment, a pumice stone foot scrub, and a massage. SCP foundation investigators confiscated the pumice stone, along with other equipment used on the agents for analysis.

It is unknown if this SCP can be considered dangerous in any form.

Addendum 1: SCP-XXXX-1
Dr.Name moved SCP-XXXX's container from its storage location and proceeded to take it to a testing chamber. Dr.Name then had a D-1142 assist him in the testing of the bar. Dr.Name told D-1142 to pickup the bar with his bare hands to see if it had any immediate effects on his body. Dr.Name then ordered D-1142 to scrub his hands and feet with the bar for 30 seconds then put the bar down into the containment box, afterwards. D-1142 followed the orders, about 15 seconds in D-1142's foot began bleeding from the bar. Upon coming into contact with D-1142's blood those parts of the bar disintegrated. All testing was halted at this point, D-1142 was sent to a containment cell to be monitored for growth of any abnormal blisters.

Addendum 2: SCP-XXXX-2
The Blister Blight Bar was a favorite among those who liked to break protocol and prank their colleagues. The bar would often go missing from its storage container and be found in possession of those such as Dr.Bright, who would often go around putting pieces in random items such as, soap. One such victim, Dr.Cimmerian came into Dr.Name's office to ask him about ways to cure the blisters. Dr.Name was speechless as he could only stare in awe at the blister on Cimmerian's forehead. No cure has been found for the blisters as of 0400, 6/25/2017.
