Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Safe

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX must be kept levitated at least 2 meters above the ground by a Gears Type 2 Levitation Device, and have at least one Minkowski Spacetime Monitor targeting it. SCP-XXXX must have an array of scanning devices targeting it, including, but not limited to: infrared, x-ray, and ultraviolet light detectors.

When handling SCP-XXXX , gloves of synthetic rubber must be worn, and skin contact should be not permitted unless handled by test subjects in a laboratory setting.

There should be at least one Mobile Task Force wearing bio-proof suits on stand-by at all times, in case SCP-XXXX-1 appears. Any room that SCP-XXXX is contained in must be built to contain at least one Class Euclid general anomalous object, with SCP-XXXX hovering in the center.

SCP-XXXX-1 Containment Procedures:

Type 1 # Non-anomalous:

If SCP-XXXX-1 is Human, SCP-XXXX-1 must first be detained and examined for diseases and other biological hazards. If SCP-XXXX-1 is infected by a disease or is otherwise a biological hazard that is a threat to the Human race, SCP- -1 must be terminated and their remains incinerated.

If however SCP-XXXX-1 is not infected by a disease or other bio-hazard, they are to be detained until they can be debriefed, then administered amnestics and released to the wider world.

If SCP-XXXX-1 is not human, SCP-XXXX-1 will be placed in a bio-secure container to be transported to Site 3 for study.

Type 2 # Anomalous:

If determined to be non-hostile, a SCP recovery team will be called, which will determine initial Special Containment Procedures for SCP-XXXX-1, after which SCP- -1 will be moved to a different site, pending approval by Site Director.

If SCP-XXXX-1 is hostile, the on call Mobile Task Force must subdue SCP- -1 first if possible.

Description:

SCP-XXXX is a Tuning Fork, approximately 15 centimeters in length, and black in color. SCP-XXXX continuously vibrates, producing a whine at 41 hertz which can be heard by anyone within a 5 meters. Deaf test subjects have reported ability to hear this whine.

When struck to create a stronger vibration, anyone maintaining skin contact with SCP-XXXX will disappear. This is signaled by an increase in the pitch of the whine produced by SCP-XXXX.

SCP-XXXX will also signal the arrival of SCP-XXXX-1 by an increase in pitch of it's whine. Thus far, SCP-XXXX has produced ████ unique SCP-XXXX-1 cases, including, but not limited to, ████ Humans, ████ of a human like species that is genetically different from humans(labeled species 001), ████ of a strange species that resemble theropods (labeled species 002), ████ of a species with avian features (labeled species 003), and SCP████, SCP████, and SCP████.

SCP-XXXX is currently housed at site 11, and produces on average ███ SCP-XXXX-1s per year.
