Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be contained in a large 47ft by 47ft bio natural enclosure with the humidity levels being at 80% or higher, this reminiscing a higher level of oxygen flow to compensate for the large environment inside SCP-XXXX containment, this small ecosystem has a variety of plant such as ferns and large trees to help with the humidity another thing this large enclosure has is 3 inch thick bullet and explosive proof doors and shutters that close over the view windows in case of an emergency. The enclosure has multiple perimeter sensors to detect if anything has entered or left the containment area, if nay such breach ever happen the whole room and hallways near containment should be filled wit ha gas that asphyxiates its victims or all vents should be programmed to suck all oxygen levels to 0%.
Description: SCP-XXXX appears to be a large carnivores arthropod(Arthropleuridae) of unnatural proportions, there are two of these massive arthropods one being male and one female from what has been observed the female has grown three time as fast. The male stopped growth at {DATA EXPUNGED} and hasn't grown since, however the female has grown massive compared to her male counter part. the female reached 90ft long before she stopped whilst the male stopped at 30ft. It is unknown of where these two came from but they were discovered by General {DATA EXPUNGED} and Dr. {DATA EXPUNGED}. Please note these large arthropods have large mandibles that have been proven to cut through manmade and natural materials, and organic substances.
Addendum-XXXX-1: From new test we have discovered that the ferns inside the containment cell that were found with the two creatures are now known as SCP-XXXX-1 because they seem to be Millions of years old, unlike what the staff thought these plants seem to be from a point in time where insects would grow to massive proportions.
Addendum-XXXX-2 The larger female has killed the male, today staff at site{DATA EXPUNGED} were doing a experiment to see how the two would do with each other out of containment, however this went south when she ultimately killed the male by dismemberment. This morning two guards were doing their normal routes when they stumbled on a closet that hadn't been locked the night before and discovered a nest full of eggs we have contained the situation, all staff are to report to Dr. {DATA EXPUNGED} for a debrief.
