SCP-XXXX as seen in Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban

Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Safe

Special Containment Procedures: Due to the nature of SCP-XXXX and the movies that contain it, direct containment or neutralization of SCP-XXXX has been declared impossible using current scientific instruments at the foundation's disposal. Creating a special containment procedure is considered a low priority. If a containment procedure for SCP-XXXX is devised and is considered to be serviceable, please contact an appropriate cinematography specialist whenever available.

Description: SCP-XXXX refers to a humanoid entity that exists and travels in motion picture, regardless if the film in question is on a physical or digital copy. SCP-XXXX itself is an entity resembling the features of an average humanoid, all of its body being covered with a strong silver color, with no sexual features directly visible. The entity's height is hypothesized to be two meters. In all reported sightings within movies, the entity is reported to cast no shadows on any kind of solid material.

SCP-XXXX does not appear unless a film is in the stage of distribution. It should be noted that regardless of this fact, SCP-XXXX has the ability to affect several items in movies, such as writing with chalk, but it chooses not to unless directly ordered by the main character within a film.

The entity has been shown to be completely incapable of speech. In all cases it has been shown that SCP-XXXX favors to remain in the backround of shots, often transforming from actors into its normal form whenever the camera is not focused on them or the attention is brought elsewhere. The entity very rarely finishes its transformation due to camera movement.

Addendum A: As part of TP-CN0521, the foundation has released a series of short films of varying lengths in order to establish a method of communication between the SCP Foundation and the entity. Each of the movies have been given a designation. Creation of a short film must be approved by a cinematography specialist working on SCP-XXXX ranking Level-3 or higher.
