Item #: SCP-5063
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: If there is any instance of SCP-5063 discovered outside of Site ██, it is to be disposed of humanely.1 Seeds of SCP-5063 must be frozen. All instances of trying to contain SCP-5063 have yielded different results. (see Addendum-5036.1)
Description: SCP-5063 appears as a strain of twopenny grass (Lysimachia nummularia) and is very quickly spreading. Tests on D-█████, D-█████ and D-█████ have all yielded the same results. Each subject was to interact differently with SCP-5063 (eat, inhale, contact). All subjects expired within 30 minutes. Any subjects who touch, inhale (its pollen), or ingest SCP-5063 will become an instance of SCP-5063-1. Below are the results of such behavior.
Contact with SCP-5063 will result in:
Rash
Fatigue
Internal Bleeding
Diarrhea
Fever
Inhalation of SCP-5063's pollen will result in:
Respiratory system damage
Cough
Trouble breathing
Lung tissue deterioration
Pulmonary gangrene
Ingestion of SCP-5063 will result in:
Cyanide poisoning
Death
Putting any instance of SCP-5063 into any box, sealed or not sealed, SCP-5063 will quickly grow out. See special containment procedures for more.
SCP-5063 is sapient when not frozen, when there is less than 10 people in its containment chamber. Near the presence of humans in its containment, it will shrink at speeds unmeasurable. SCP-5063's voice is very deep and hostile, and can strangle annoying humans if necessary. That being said, it is almost impossible to differentiate between male and female specimens of SCP-5036.
Addendum 5063.1:
Planted seeds into moist steel container. Seeds did not grow even thought they were watered periodically. SCP-5036 explained it cannot grow out of metal.
Addendum 5063.2:
Planted in wooden box. Over a course of forty-eight (48) hours, wood decomposed and SCP-5036 was able to escape.
Addendum 5063.3:
Planted in glass box. Died.
NOTE: this was an unauthorized test and SCP-5063 was not watered.
