SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Safe
Special Containment Procedures:
SCP-XXXX is to be kept contained in a storage box within secure sight storage at site 22, under no circumstances is the image to be seen in person, unless authorized by 05 Command.
Description:
SCP-XXXX is a standard Walgreens 4x6in photograph containing an image of the last viewer in their saddest moment, as soon as it is viewed by someone it will start to change form into the viewer in their saddest moment, average image change times vary from 3 days to 2 months. During the reformation of the image, the viewer will typically notice green spots located seemingly at random throughout the image, other viewers will not see the green spots until the image has been finished forming.
When the image has finished forming green spots in all locations consistent with the photo will appear, including on objects and the viewer, most viewers have reported seeing nothing when they look at themselves through a mirror or any other reflective surface, however, they report seeing themselves in a 3rd person view, they do not report seeing green spots on objects that are consistent with the picture.
After approximately 24 hours the subject report seeing the green spots in places consistent with the photo. Approximately 8 hours later the subject report feeling a burning sensation, as if they were touching a hot iron, in sections that have been affected with green spots. At this point most subjects will die from excessive heat pain and trauma, any subjects that survive will report seeing past viewers of SCP-XXXX roaming around seemingly at random, approximately 2 hours later the viewer will start 'fading' until they can no longer be viewed.
SCP-XXXX has an unusually high infrared light wave, even though it does not feel physically hot when touched. By using an adaption of SCRAMBLE technology, specific goggles can be designed to filter out the image of SCP-XXXX, and if taken in unknown ways, can be used to track through its built-in infrared light scanners. Also, SCP-XXXX can be used to subdue certain SCP's but using SCP-XXXX as a thaumiel class object is restricted, as it is unknown where subjects go when they disappear after viewing SCP-XXXX, only SCP's that can be resummoned or revived in a fashion can be subdued using SCP-XXXX.
Addendum: When SCP-XXXX was contained a standard Walgreens receipt was found behind it. Written on the receipt is the following:

All attempts at finding the person who sold the photo have failed, all personnel with the name ████ in Walgreens are to be detained and questioned, if it has been determined that they are not a threat, they must be given Class B Amnestics and released, if not hold them for further questioning and contact a superior.
Discovery:
SCP-XXXX was first found within a Walgreens store on display in the photo aisle. After a series of disappearances near the Walgreens store, a foundation operative disguised as a health and safety inspector scouted out the store, after a thorough check he dismissed the store thinking it was fine, 26 hours later he saw green spots on himself and around him, he then found himself at the photo in the Walgreens again and saw that the photo had changed, he then contacted his superiors and left them a compiled list of things he had learned about it while being consumed by it. The notes are the following:
*The photo on display in the Walgreens photo booth section has green spots on it that seem to appear where they are seen in the photo after a given period of time.
*I assume that this photo has something to do with all the mysterious disappearances.
*Strangely after noticing the green dots everywhere I also started seeing the people that have disappeared.
*It seems that the photo changes appearance with each given viewer in order of who viewed it first.
