Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Thaumiel

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept in a standard small containment unit. One D-Class is to be stationed outside of the containment unit and is required to remind SCP-XXXX to stay inside his cell every half an hour as well as make conversation with SCP-XXXX at fifteen-minute intervals. These conversations must remain lighthearted, any mention of death should be avoided due to it causing emotional distress to SCP-XXXX.

The D-Class will remain outside of SCP-XXXX's containment unit for two hours before they are discharged to undertake other jobs.

Every Monday and Friday, SCP-XXXX is permitted to sit inside a Level 2 Clearance Researcher's breast pocket for the entirety of the working day. SCP-XXXX should remain insight and is allowed to go onto tables and counters as long as SCP-XXXX is visible to the Researcher. Researchers are to let SCP-XXXX stay with them for the entire working day before returning SCP-XXXX to its containment unit at 20:00.

A router has been pinned to the notice board in the breakroom of Site 94 stating who shall be accompanied by SCP-XXXX. Each week two Level 2 Clearance researchers will be picked at random.

Researchers are allowed, with express permission, to bring SCP-XXXX with them in times which are not on the standard router. Interviewing and researching SCPs classed 'Safe', 'Euclid' and 'Explained' is acceptable as long as SCP-XXXX has been informed about the SCP being researched.1 The researcher must log these sessions. This privilege will be revoked from the researcher in question if the process is not properly executed.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a male humanoid measuring around 3cm in height. SCP-XXXX is of European descent with a slight daffodil yellow tint to his skin and has curled ginger hair. SCP-XXXX wears a matching suit and bowler hat that are dyed with an emerald green pigment.

SCP-XXXX is willing to aid people at nearly any opportunity and exhibits a jovial demeanour. SCP-XXXX is known to be extremely empathetically and claims to be quite forgetful.

SCP-XXXX stays in close proximity to humans and gives advice and suggestions to solve issues. SCP-XXXX is knowledgable on several languages and locations, primarily in European Regions and areas of North America. A sample of SCP-XXXX’s blood shows traces of dopamine and serotonin which is collected from those that they help.

SCP-XXXX attempts to wander out of its containment unit almost daily, this appears to be because of SCP-XXXX's forgetful nature. CCTV footage of SCP-XXXX displays his ability to push open doors, even when they are locked.

Discovery Log: SCP-XXXX was discovered in January 2017, after reports of a leprechaun-like creature inside of Site 94. Recordings using CCTV confirmed these claims. SCP-XXXX had appeared out of nowhere with no sign of entering into the facility from the exterior. It spoke to D-9928, who has had a history of depressive episodes. Security removed SCP-XXXX from D-9928 and placed it in a standard small containment unit.

After meeting SCP-XXXX, D-9924 spoke to himself repeatedly about how he wished to commit suicide. Redfield, one of Site 94’s psychiatrists, was sent to talk with him. D-9928 had stated that talking with SCP-XXXX had been "eye-opening" but caused him to have stronger suicidal thoughts. D-9928 recovered to a regular mental state after several days after their meeting with SCP-XXXX.

Once contained, there were signs that SCP-XXXX had become weak and sickly. SCP-XXXX explained how it needed to do its routine to stay healthy. After a lengthy discussion, the Ethics Committee then approved appropriate adjustments to SCP-XXXX’s containment procedures.

Tale Comparison

SCP-XXXX’s forgetful memory caused data of his "Tales" to be inaccurate. MTF Omicron-4 ('Cyan 12') were dispatched to locations of recent occurrences to improve accuracy.

Title of 'Tale' SCP-XXXX’s Account Cyan 12 Research Log
Son of the Infertile King SCP-XXXX claimed to have encountered a king who was unable to have a son due to his infertility. SCP-XXXX discussed with him and then several months later SCP-XXXX heard the queen had been announced as pregnant. Overjoyed, SCP-XXXX then went on his way. SCP-XXXX had presumably influenced a King of an unidentified kingdom to obtain an heir by underhanded means. A look into historical records report about how several rulers had children out of wedlock. It is assumed the Queen had been ordered to have an illegitimate child.
Damion's Parents A boy named Damion was crying in the forest. SCP-XXXX conversed with the child and discovered how he had a distaste for his father and mother. Several days after consoling the boy, SCP-XXXX discovered that Damion was no longer in this "troublesome household". Damion Smith's parents were found severely injured after their son had caused a metal shelving unit to collapse on them. Child Protection Services soon took this child from this household, while both parents were brought into police custody for child neglect and abuse.
Stopping The Thieves SCP-XXXX was wandering about one night when SCP-XXXX noticed a burglary, feigning innocence SCP-XXXX asked to help the criminals, which they then agreed to. It then began to repeat the actions the robbers ordered it to perform extremely noisily, waking the residents of the home. Believing that they had stopped the robbery SCP-XXXX retreated elsewhere. Location of the burglary was located to have occurred in █████, Germany. An eyewitness informed the MTF Squadron that the family had been shot after they had confronted the criminals.
Allison Pendam Allison was scared of "a dangerous monster" which had appeared under her bed. SCP-XXXX calmed and soothed her until she felt safe. During a period of approximately 6 weeks, SCP-XXXX consoled Allison and the two became friends. Allison J. Pendam was a child from America in the state of Texas. Research into Pendam ended in July 2017 due to The O5 Council's intervention. Exact details on Pendam and the anomaly she found are confidential to all personnel excluding those with Level 5 clearance.

After SCP-XXXX being informed of what their actions had unintentionally been causing, SCP-XXXX became more self-aware of their words and began to inhibit what they said and when they aided. Trailing of the newly imposed containment procedures proved to be a success with no cases of negative repercussions on the D-Class or Level 2 Researchers that interacted with SCP-XXXX.
