Special Containment Procedures: SCP-5980 is to be contained at Site-19 inside a 2m x 2m x 2m chamber.
Two guards are to be beside the entrance of the containment chamber at a given time to prevent any unauthorized personnel from entering.

Description: SCP-5980 is a white wooden door with small pencil markings on the outside.
SCP-5980's anomalous properties only occur when the subject has opened the door. Inside SCP-5980 is what seems to be an alternate reality of a dark room that will now be referred to as SCP-5980-2. When a subject has entered SCP-5980 and into SCP-5980-2, the door will immediately slam behind them without anyone closing it. On the floor of SCP-5980-2, there are several human █████████. There are also two book shelves that are both empty, and two small windows adjacent to the inside facing of SCP-5980 that show the outside as a black, bottomless void when looking outside them. After twenty seconds of being inside SCP-5980-2, the room will appear to "fall". The subject will then experience intense, paralyzing fear and won't move for approximately 10-20 minutes. SCP-5980-2's fall distance is infinite as SCP-5980 will only stop falling until after the subject has died. It is noted that depending on what crimes the subject has committed, SCP-5980 will instead open to a place that can't be found on Earth, that resembles Garibaldi Provincial Park, which will be referred to as SCP-5980-3. This is likely to be another alternate reality. Subjects report feeling calm and happy after leaving SCP-5980-3.

Addendum: When the subject is transported to either reality, the signal of their trackers completely disappear, and can't be tracked or monitored. SCP-5980 will not unlock until after the subject has died, or has comeback to our main reality.
