Special Containment Procedures: Sustained visual exposure to SCP-xxxx instances must be approved by at least 2 level 4 or higher foundation personnel, for testing purposes only.
All retail stores that have been reported carrying SCP-xxxx are to be tracked and seized by field agents and surrounded by a concrete wall, with one containment door on the north side wall. Retail stores that are contained are to be monitored 24/7 by at least 2 MTF Epsilon-6 ("Village Idiots") agents. Any instances of SCP-xxxx that are recovered, are to be put in containment. Absolutely no foundation personnel are allowed inside of any retail stores contained, except SCP-xxxx-2 instances.
SCP-xxxx instances are to be contained in a locked steel box, inside of an iron containment locker. The block of containment lockers containing SCP-xxxx instances, can only be accessed by level 3 or higher foundation personnel. A maximum of 3 instances of SCP-xxxx are allowed per containment locker.
Instances of SCP-xxxx-2 are to be converted into D-class personnel, and be kept in a secluded block of D-class holding cells. Instances of SCP-xxxx-2, are the only D-class personnel allowed to transport instances of SCP-xxxx.
All instances of SCP-xxxx-c are to be tracked and seized by field agents.
If any instances of SCP-xxxx are removed from containment are to occur minimal visual exposure, and are to be transported by SCP-xxxx-2 instances.
Discovery: The first instance of SCP-xxxx was discovered when a local of Clio Michigan, United States, witnessed an instance of SCP-xxxx-c, on 3/11/2020, through a window of an unnamed eyecare center. Authorities were contacted, but they all became instances of SCP-xxxx-2. MTF Epsilon-6 ("Village Idiots") was dispatched, and the building was contained. Media coverage was suppressed, and law enforcement was questioned for further information.
Description: The origin of SCP-xxxx instances is unknown, and there seems to be an unknown number of instances that are able to appear per retail store. If the origin of SCP-xxxx is discovered it is to be given a Euclid classification, and is be terminated as soon as possible.
SCP-xxxx instances appear to be a pair of large mens sunglasses, with metallic, gray lines on the sides of the frames. SCP-xxxx instances appear in retail stores, with no listed company, or designer.
Subject(s) when visually exposed to SCP-xxxx, will start see an anomalous light, and will need to put the object on in order to prevent blindness. After persciscley 5 minutes of exposure, and if the subject(s) do not put on one of the objects, they will go blind from the light made by SCP-xxxx. Any subject(s) blinded by SCP-xxxx's light will become an instance known as SCP-xxxx-2.
Once a subject has put SCP-xxxx, they will become an instance known as SCP-xxxx-1. Once SCP-xxxx-1 has been wearing SCP-xxxx for exactly 5 minutes, they will start to see an origami like creature known as SCP-xxxx-b sitting on flat surfaces, and taunting them with death threats, and [DATA EXPUNGED].
After SCP-xxxx-1 has started to visualize SCP-xxxx-b for exactly 10 minutes, SCP-xxxx-b will [DATA EXPUNGED], and the subject will start to visualize an XK-class extinction event, featuring SCP-xxxx-b creating copies of itself, and [DATA EXPUNGED] victims, flashing in their peripheral vision. The XK-class extinction event visualized by SCP-xxxx-1, is not real, and can only be visualized by SCP-xxxx-1.
Once a subject has been wearing SCP-xxxx for exactly 15 minutes, the subject will fully visualize an SCP-xxxx-b XK-class extinction event, and the subject will occur in cardiac arrest within 5 minutes following the visualization, proceeding in death. SCP-xxxx will re-appear in the retail store it was found in, after SCP-xxxx-1 has deceased.
Once SCP-xxxx-1 has deceased, it will [DATA EXPUNGED] into an instance known as SCP-xxxx-c, and is to be given a Keter classification. SCP-xxxx-c appears to be a large black humanoid figure, with large, luminescent eyes. SCP-xxxx-c is highly aggressive towards all other organisms.
When SCP-xxxx-c makes eye contact with another individual, it will proceed to [DATA EXPUNGED] the individual into another instance of SCP-xxxx-c. If all instances of SCP-xxxx-c are not terminated, there is to be a Keter level containment breach declared immediately.
When SCP-xxxx-c is terminated, it will proceed to disintegrate into a black and white substance, known as SCP-xxxx-d. SCP-xxxx-d emits a heat between 20-60 degrees Celsius. SCP-xxxx-d must be contained in a Large containment barrel, and is only to be removed for testing purposes only. SCP-xxxx-d when in contact with human skin, untimely disintegrates human skin, and will eventually lead to death.
Addendum-01: There has been 1 instance of SCP-xxxx-2 that did not proceed to disintegrate from an instance of SCP-xxxx-d, it came into contact with. There will be further experimentation.
Addendum-02: Further experimentation (see Addendum-01) has proved that the instance of SCP-xxxx-2 that was tested on SCP-xxxx-d, portrayed anomalous traits such as [DATA EXPUNGED], and is being questioned until further notice. The foundation has reason to believe that the instance being questioned is SCP-xxxx-a.
