Any reports of SCP-xxxx appearing on websites are to be dealt with immediately with high level priority. In such cases, Task Force Iota-35 ("Neuro-Surgeons") is to have the infected website shut down and a cover story must be created. News of SCP-xxxx-1 must not reach the general public.
Research must be continued in finding a cure for SCP-xxxx-1. In the event that the bacteria infects an individual, he/she is to be taken into Foundation possession to further its understanding of the condition and possible methods of eradication. All procedures carried out on the affected person must be approved by the Ethics Committee.
Description: SCP-xxxx is an advertisement that has appeared on various websites, but was originally discovered at the web address [REDACTED]. SCP-xxxx appears as a popup offering "top quality mannequins." When SCP-xxxx is purchased, a letter will be sent to the shipping address containing SCP-xxxx-1, a complex bacteria with anomalous properties. The advertisement has since spread to a known 24 different websites, although more may currently be undiscovered. It is unknown by what means the virus is able to spread between sites, making most methods of tracking ineffective.
SCP-xxxx-1 is a flesh-eating bacteria that is incredibly efficient at consuming human skin tissue. It contains a unique organelle capable of converting waste products into bone tissue, effectively able to build a hard structure in place of the target's skin. SCP-xxxx-1 has shown to die off shortly after all flesh is converted due to its inability to quickly infect new hosts not in close proximity.
The location of an abandoned house previously belonging to the bacteriologist Boris ████████ in [REDACTED], Germany has been printed as the return address on the letter. There are no records of any individuals inhabiting said house since 2004, however items previously belonging to the bacteriologist still remain.

A group of ██ children between the ages of 7 and 12 were abducted over a 4-day period of March 8-12, 19██. The kidnapping took place in [REDACTED], Germany. Search parties were sent to locate the missing children, but the results were inconclusive. DNA samples and journal entries obtained from the ████████ estate have confirmed that Mr. ████████ was the perpetrator of the crime. Following the discovery of the estate in 2007, a fabricated resolution in which the perpetrator was pronounced dead after a police raid was publicly released.

A 34 year old male was infected by SCP-xxxx-1 on August 26th, 20██. Within the following two days, the bacteria spread to 5 others living in close quarters with the initial victim. Four were neutralized by the disease before a medical case was filed and the foundation seized possession of the remaining survivor.
