Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Safe

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept in a locked wooden box inside a secure locker at site ████. Experimentation is only allowed with written permission from at least two (2) Level 3 personnel, and SCP-XXXX may only be handled by Class-D personnel.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a black record that has a diameter of twenty-five (25) centimeters with no writing or other form of branding on it at all. On the outside, SCP-XXXX does not seem to have any anomalous qualities, however, when inserted into a record player, SCP-XXXX plays odd screeching sounds. The screeching sounds are high-pitched and are constant. Also, the audio played by SCP-XXXX seems to be slightly different every time SCP-XXXX is played. The audio always consists of high-pitched screeching noises, but it dosen't seem to be the exact same recording every time SCP-XXXX is played.

When a subject is exposed to the noises of SCP-XXXX for a long time, usually about ten (10) minutes, the subject begins to show odd behavior, usually slight dizziness at first, but then after a few more minutes the subject starts acting insanely, screaming and running around, at this point the subject is considered SCP-XXXX-1. When a subject has been removed from the presences of SCP-XXXX whilst he/she is only dizzy, in every instance the subject has recovered back to normal. However, if they subject is taken away from SCP-XXXX after he/she has started screaming, they usually can still function normally, but never make a complete recovery saying that he/she can sometimes still hear the audio played from SCP-XXXX even if he/she is not anywhere near it.

Addendum: After further research, it has been concluded that canines are more sensitive to the noises of SCP-XXXX due to them being more sensitive to noises.
