SCP-XXXX before capture. ██/██/39
Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX should, at all times, be contained within a 3 m x 3 m x 5 m holding cell composed of solid concrete, with a consistent depth of 1 m. The walls, ceiling, and floor of the cell should each be covered by a 1 cm thick sheet of lead. It is mandatory that the lead be inspected for physical alterations on a bi-weekly basis after [DATA REDACTED].
Note: Lead is currently the only known material to counteract SCP-XXXX's anomalous properties.
Description: SCP-XXXX resembles an emaciated human standing at approximately 3 meters tall. SCP-XXXX completely lacks any traits that would classify it as male or female, with skin completely devoid of pigmentation. Several locations on SCP-XXXX's figure appear to be necrotic, such as the groin and neck regions. SCP-XXXX's face is completely bare other than a pair of eyes also lacking pigmentation. No hair is present on SCP-XXXX's figure. Each of SCP-XXXX's digits are grossly elongated, ending in jagged nails, which it uses to varying effect when hostile.
SCP-XXXX generally retains a passive manner but reacts violently to physical provocation. This takes the form of any physical contact that breaks the skin of SCP-XXXX. Upon becoming hostile, SCP-XXXX will charge the attacker in an attempt to cause as much damage to internal structures as possible. This is achieved by inserting its fingers into the torso of the attacker. If this attack fails to incapacitate its attacker, it will immediately withdraw. This is assumed to be a measure to prevent damage to itself.1 Once the attacker is incapacitated or is no longer within eyesight, SCP-XXXX will return to a passive state.
While it is unclear whether the full range of SCP-XXXX's anomalous abilities are known, it has shown to have a great effect on the perception of sound. When SCP-XXXX is injured in any fashion—although possessing no known method of sound generation—it emits a scream not dissimilar to that of a mountain lion. Although only recorded to reach a maximum volume of ██dB, testing personnel have been known to experience symptoms generally associated with sounds upwards of ███dB. During capture, MTF ETA-11 reported that while within approximately .8 km of SCP-XXXX, all sound became garbled, and within 10 feet, sound was muted entirely. While reviewing audio recordings of the capture, no anomalous effects where observed.
Addendum: As of ██/██/██, physical testing utilizing SCP-XXXX is no longer permitted under any circumstances. SCP-XXXX has been shown to be extremely susceptible to physical damage, and posses an almost nonexistent ability to naturally heal. This may explain the necrotic flesh found on SCP-XXXX after capture.
