Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept in a standard humanoid containment cell with infrared sensors. A second cell identical in size but without furnishings is to be built with its center exactly 12 m west from the first cell's center. A 3 x 3 block grid should be applied with red paint to the floor of each cell, with careful consideration to make sure they perfectly match each other. In the event of an electronic failure or sabotage of the infrared sensors, SCP-XXXX-1's position should be used to determine the position of SCP-XXXX.
Researchers who desire to study or otherwise transport SCP-XXXX should employ an aerosol sedative to prevent confusion. Also, on-site staff should be notified whenever SCP-XXXX is being transported in order to prevent unnecessary panic. Experimentation requires permission of Dr. █████, the head researcher.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a 27 year old male of Mediterranean decent, with short, black hair and brown eyes. Subject stands at approx. 1.75 m tall and is missing the last finger on its right hand.
SCP-XXXX's "body" is invisible to the naked eye but can be detected through heat signatures. Also, an apparition of SCP-XXXX's appearance, referred to as SCP-XXXX-1, exists 12 meters west of its position and copies its every movement. This apparition has no presence in the physical world, and passes through objects and people with ease. Any object that touches SCP-XXXX's skin disappears and reappears on SCP-XXXX-1's person where SCP-XXXX would be holding it (this includes clothes and any furniture it reclines in).
SCP-XXXX can see and hear from both its and SCP-XXXX-1's perspective, but other senses and verbal communication are limited to its "body." Because of this, interviews may take place in the subject's secondary cell, with a speaker transmitting its responses to interviewers. See Addendum XXXX-1 for complete list of interviews.
