SCP-4907
Object Class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures:
A series of chain-link fences have been set up around the area parking lot of SCP-4907, in addition to signs reading “Do Not Enter” and “Structure Unstable”. This zone is to be monitored by guards at all times, although all personnel are required to evacuate the main building from the times of 19:00 to 06:00 CST the next day. Any non-personnel seen entering the zone of SCP-4907 before these times should be retrieved by Foundation security officers and given Class A amnestics. Anyone seen entering after 19:00 CST is not to be investigated, as doing so would pose too great a threat to Foundation agents. Anything seen exiting SCP-4907 that is not a Foundation member is to be regarded as an instance of SCP-4907-alpha, and is to be terminated accordingly. Attempts to place locks on the doors of SCP-4907 have been unsuccessful, as they dematerialize once being applied.

Description:
SCP-4907 is a 4 story building located in ████, Texas, that manifests itself as a branch of the La Quinta Inns & Suites hotel chain. SCP-4907 has approximately 115 rooms, each of which has its own anomalous properties, although this is just assumed due to a lack of thorough testing on site. SCP-4907 has a full time staff of cleaners, bellhops, doormen, and receptionists, as well as chefs in the hotel’s kitchen, although it is unknown where they get their food. Staff of SCP-4907, simply referred to as ‘The Staff’, are in an indefinite state of bliss and happiness, and will violently resist all attempts to get them to leave SCP-4907.

Upon entry, guests are greeted by the Staff and assigned one of the several free rooms. Guests are warned that curfew is at 19:00, and that they are not allowed to walk the halls after this time.

After entering their room, the guest will be treated to a basic one bed hotel room, complete with a nightstand, drawers, lamp, and television, as well as a bathroom. All rooms remain as normal until 19:00, when a multitude of anomalies manifest within each bedroom, all of which are to be referred to as SCP-4907-alpha.
(Note Addendums 4907-E-1 through 4907-E-3)

Addendum 4907-E-1:
Researcher █████ orders for D-class personnel to be given a room and stay for the night. The subject is to place cameras in his room which will record the events of the following night.

Results:
D-41795 (Male, 29, Sexual Misconduct, Second Degree Homicide, Rape) enters SCP-4907 at 17:45 CST and is given Room number 104 by the attending receptionist. After commenting on the receptionist’s body, D-41795 continues up to his room and takes a nap for about an hour and 15 minutes. D-41795 is awoken by a manifestation of SCP-4907-alpha in the form of an unknown caucasian woman in her early 30’s. D-41795 appears frightened and screams “NO! YOU’RE DEAD!”, before attempting to exit the room. The door to the room had become locked from the outside during his exchange and strikes the door repeatedly. It is at this point that the instance of SCP-4907-alpha places her hand on the subject’s shoulder. D-41795’s limbs begin to fall off before D-41795 completely dematerializes.
D-Class lost. Experiment success.

Addendum 4907-E-2:
Researcher █████ orders for D-class personnel to be given a room and stay for the night. The subject is to refuse to stay in Room 104 and place cameras in his room which will record the events of the following night.

Results:
D-55678 (Male, 31, Harassment, Sexual Assault, Kidnapping) enters SCP-4907 at 18:50 CST and is given Room 256 by the attending receptionist. The receptionist reminds the subject that curfew is at 19:00 and that he should get to his room “lickity-split.” The D-55678 arrives in his room and sets up his cameras before he is met with an instance of SCP-4907-alpha in the form of an unidentified woman in a robe who has manifested on his bed, She begins disrobing and D-55678 begins to engage in sexual intercourse before a loud metallic clang is heard coming from the bathroom. D-55678 gets up to investigate, but is scratched in the back by SCP-4907-alpha and falls to the ground. It is at this point that D-55678’s body completely bends over backwards, severing the spine, before he completely dematerializes.
D-Class lost. Experiment success.

Addendum 4097-E-3:

She reports a foul smell coming from several rooms on the third floor, in addition to loud banging coming from several rooms. Upon passing the lobby, D-14756 records several Staff members huddled around in a circle around the reception desk before one of them notices her. The Staff member shouts “No running in my lobby!”, before beginning to pursue. D-14756 attempts to flee but is caught, at which point her appendages begin to melt. D-14756 completely dematerializes after 14 seconds
D-Class lost. Experiment failure.

Interview Log: 4907-1

Interviewed: Previously missing D-14756.

Interviewer: Dr. ████

Foreword: Upon routine inspection of SCP-4907, D-14756 was discovered working as a member of the custodial staff. The following was transcribed from the makeshift interview performed within the confines of SCP-4907, as removal of D-14756 would provoke an adverse reaction from the Staff.

<Begin Log>

Dr. ████: “Do you remember anything from what happened on ████?”

D-14756: “I don’t remember anything strange. You sure you got the right person?”

Dr. ████: “Yes, we’re sure. Do you remember anything about your life before coming into contact with the Foundation?”

D-14756: (No Response)

Dr. ████: “What do you remember?”

D-14756: “I don’t remember anything strange. You sure you got the right person?”

Dr. ████: “I see. If you had to guess, how long do you think you’ve been here?”

D-14756: “Oh, I’ve been working here my whole life. Everyone here is so kind, and it really puts a smile on my face seeing all our happy guests day in and day out.”

Dr. ████: “All right, that’s enough. We’re done for now.”

<End Log>

Closing Statement: In the time since, both of the remaining missing test subjects were discovered working as Staff inside of SCP-4907, although further interviews discovered that all D-Class personnel found working as Staff have no memories of anything but working as the Staff, and they have been implanted with false memories of their life inside of SCP-4907.

All further testing inside of SCP-4907 has been denied.
