Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX must be kept in a glass container of any size and may be transferred with approval from Class B and above. SCP-XXXX’s usual residence is at a Site-██. SCP-XXXX can be tested on if there are two or more researchers present. If not SCP-XXXX must not be held or tested on under any circumstances. SCP-XXXX must not be held by anyone not trained to study the anomaly or before/after a test commences.

Description SCP-XXXX is a small black box which has a different content inside after opening. After ten minutes the item inside the box will transform into a gold ring. At first after opening the box’s contents will be normal but after 50-100 times opening the container it will start to produce items that resemble the past of the person opening it. If opened over 1000 it will put the human opening the box in a coma, this will reside after ten minutes when the box resets. The coma has no effect on the patient and will not damage or help them at all. If in the comatose, you will remember everything about the occurrence after but it can be forgotten whenever. If near the box, people will start to feel compelled to open it. None of SCP-XXXX’s known contents may be picked up as of 08/06/2013.

SCP-XXXX was first discovered at a pawn shop in San Francisco; the box remained in the same store for years until eventually, David ████████ purchased the box. Every day he would open it more and more before becoming insane. He wouldn't go anywhere without it and he thought he needed to find everything he could about himself through the box. He would never let the box out his line of sight. David eventually resorted to violence to stop anyone from going near it. He was convicted of murder and arrested. David refused to be without the box and skipped his court trial to run away and hide. eventually, he realized it was controlling him so he tried to sell but no one would buy it. After months of searching MTF finally located the anomaly and burst into the log cabin before realizing David was there. MTF looked at David and realized he’d ripped flesh off this face and ate to be able to continue eating whilst opening the box. MTF pinned him to the ground and forced the box out of his hands bringing it back to Site-██.

Addendum A:
SCP-XXXX has a note engraved on top of the lid in an unnamed language. The language has not been decrypted and is still under constant research.
