1 SCP, 1 MC&D
The In-Universe Timeline of Events:
MC&D Discover a manual/manuscript/scroll/clay tablet/ of a specific way to cut a Diamond such that it produces anomalous gems.
2. MC&D manufactures a few of these gems and sells them. The gems paranaturally enhance beauty/allure of both whoever wears them and the piece that they get set in.
3. An MC&D Customer, while wearing one of these gems/jewelery, is assassinated, but immediately spontaneously combusts upon death, being reborn from the ashes.
4. MC&D ramps up production, ignoring warnings indicated on the tablets/manuscripts/manual
5. Too many gems are produced and kept in too close of a proximity. They react with one another, industrial/accident explosion, destroying the tablet/manuscript/manual and the only people who know how to cut it.
6. The Foundation recovers the remains and the remaining existing gems.

| I hate archeological digs, but I love archeological finds. a canvas pouch of gems, and instructions on how to cut more. Never seen something so beautiful, it must be anomalous. Gems are warm to the touch. Some scrolls here also detail how to go about making these beauts.
