Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be contained in 5x5x2.5 metre containment cell in Site-██. SCP-XXXX is to belive that its containment cell is its 'secret lair'. To avoid suspicion within its large following on the social media site ███████, SCP-XXXX is to be given a computer with recording equipment and video editing software. The actions of SCP-XXXX should be closely monitored at all times, especially when it is actively using the computer. Foundation personnel should be inserted into SCP-XXXX's fanbase to monitor any threats to the Foundation.

Any attempts by SCP-XXXX to redistribute any information about the Foundation or subjects contained by the Foundation should be handled by discretely dispensing sedative into the air supply of SCP-XXXX's containment cell, allowing Level-3 Foundation personnel to delete all data stored on the computer related to the prospective data breach. This should be followed by the administering of either Class-A or Class-B amnestics to SCP-XXXX.

In the event that SCP-XXXX manages to successfully release any data from any Foundation source, all staff with any connection to SCP-XXXX or the data breach should be questioned and dealt with appropriately. Mobile Task Force Gamma-5 ("Red Herrings") will be dispatched to prevent the general populace from gaining any and all knowledge of the data breach and the Foundation.

Any and all incidents involving SCP-XXXX will be investigated by Mobile Task Force Rho-9 ("Technical Support") and Mobile Task Force Epsilon-11 ("Nine-Tailed Fox").

Description: SCP-XXXX is a human male known as Nick Nocturne. SCP-XXXX has a large following on the social media site ███████, where it is regularly known as 'Night Mind'. SCP-XXXX commonly produces videos on internet phenomena that is deemed mysterious by the general populace. These include several 'Alternate Reality Games' and 'Creepypastas'.

As of ██/██/20██, SCP-XXXX has had ██ interactions with other entities either monitored or contained by the Foundation.

Addendum XXXX-01: Incident Report 10/15/20██

SCP-XXXX took control of a security drone after covertly gaining access to Site-██. It then proceeded to use the security drone to gain access to Foundation archives. SCP-XXXX managed to gain access to and then distribute █ archive entries in the form of a video to its online following.

Due to slowed communication between site staff, it took 47 minutes and 19 seconds before the alarm was raised. MTF Rho-9 investigated the incident, before alerting Mobile Task Forces Pi-1 ("City Slickers") and Mu-4 ("Debuggers") who subsequently contained SCP-XXXX and its equipment. SCP-XXXX was transferred to Site-██.

MTF Gamma-5 was dispatched to all areas where the video had been viewed. Approximately ██% of all viewers were found and were given amnestics. This has been deemed unacceptable by the O5 Council.

Addendum XXXX-02: Incident Report 10/28/20██

SCP-XXXX used the computer it was provided with to gather archival imformation from previous data breaches, some unknown to the Foundation. Again, slow communication between site staff and the ineffectiveness of the team assigned to monitor SCP-XXXX allowed it 50 minutes and 40 seconds to compile the breached data and then distribute it to its fanbase. This allowed MTF Rho-9 to investigate alongside Level-4 site officials.

Again, MTF Gamma-5 was dispatched to all areas where the video had been viewed. This assignment was deemed a partial failure by the O5 Council and lead to the re-evaluation of MTF Gamma-5's effectiveness.

Addendum XXXX-03: Incident Report 10/29/20██

SCP-XXXX found a website going by the name [DATA EXPUNGED] that contained archival information from the Foundation. Upgraded monitoring systems allowed the Foundation to respond after 39 minutes and 19 seconds. While this is an improvement, it is still deemed unacceptable. Improvements are being made to reduce the response time by 29 minutes and 19 seconds.

The information breach was traced back to the improper relocation and disposal of archives during the decommissioning of Site-██-█.

MTF Rho-9 passed investigative duties onto MTF Mu-4, who apprehended all individuals involved. MTF Gamma-5 was then dispatched to administer Class-C amnestics to all individuals who had viewed the website.

Due to the previous failures of MTF Gamma-5, amnestics were not used to contain the spread of the information that SCP-XXXX obtained. Alternative methods were recommended and subsequently used.
