SCP-XXXX
Clearance level: Level 5 - Top Secret
Containment class: Euclid
Disruption class: Amida
Risk class: Critical
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept in a standard humanoid cell at Site-88. The cell must be guarded by at least two(2) guards at all times, only medical personnel are allowed within SCP-XXXX’s cell. Additionally all audio vocalizations of SCP-XXXX must be recorded.
Due to its advanced age, a life support system must be connected to SCP-XXXX at all times. At least one team of medical personnel must be on stand-by in the event that SCP-XXXX experiences a sudden shift in its health. When entering SCP-XXXX’s cell personnel must be wearing noise cancelling gear.
All testing on SCP-XXXX has been suspended indefinitely by order of O5.
Description: SCP-XXXX is currently a human male of Caucasian descent with an age of 205. SCP-XXXX has a symbol of unknown origin tattooed on the back of it’s neck. Several features of SCP-XXXX are in a state of mild decay including the arms, legs, and face. Due to this, SCP-XXXX is immobile and bed-ridden.
Upon SCP-XXXX’s death a K class end of the world scenario will occur. So far ██ scenarios have occurred, with the Foundation having to use multiple SCP’s to reverse. After the crisis is resolved a new instance of SCP-XXXX will be born and can be identified with the symbol on its neck.
It has been noted that SCP-XXXX experiences dreams that are prophetic in nature. Events that occur in SCP-XXXX’s dreams are known to correlate to K class scenarios. To date █ K class scenarios have been predicted by previous SCP-XXXX instances. It has also been noted that the current dreams of SCP-XXXX have been known to correlate to previous K class scenarios.
As it stands, SCP-XXXX must be kept alive through any means necessary. Current use of life extending SCPs have proven useful although diminished in their overall effectiveness.
Acquisition: In the aftermath of K class scenario, alpha-2, SCP-2000 was activated in order to rebuild civilization. As this was the first use of the experimental anomaly, SCP-XXXX was created in what appears to have been an error. Due to SCP-XXXX’s anomalous properties that were not fully realized, K class scenario, alpha-3, occurred only 62 years later. Afterwards, it was noted that another instance was created from SCP-2000 and was taken into custody. Research into understanding why SCP-2000 produces SCP-XXXX is ongoing, however, nothing has been discovered.
Interviewer: MTF Alpha-1 (“Red Right Hand”) Agent R█████ - standing in for O5-7
Interviewee: SCP-XXXX
[BEGIN LOG]
R█████: We’ll begin whenever you’re ready.
[Extraneous amount of non-verbal log removed]
SCP-XXXX: When can I be released?
R█████: When we have enough information to release you, as I’ve stated previously. Now, tell me about the dreams.
SCP-XXXX: I had a dream, [Unintelligible] so you made a hole and filled it with water.
R█████: Anything else?
SCP-XXXX: a week back, there was a dream where everything was covered in snow.
R█████: Ok, I think we’ve seen something like that before, is there anything else?
SCP-XXXX: There was one dream that bothered me. Everything felt normal, until all went dark, then when the light came back, everyone started to melt.
R█████: I see. Well it looks like we are done here.
SCP-XXXX: How long will you keep me here like this? I haven’t been able to do things in years.
Don’t you think this is pointless? You’re trying to keep me alive for a purpose that I don’t know. I can’t do anything anymore, I have no one now! Why are you keeping me tethered like this?! I have been here for, I can no longer remember. WHY DO YOU DO THIS TO ME?
SCP-XXXX proceeds to have a heart attack and the interview was aborted as medical personnel were called in to assist.
[END LOG]
Final Note: Audio recording in SCP-XXXX’s room revealed it speaking in its sleep.
SCP-XXXX: It doesn’t matter how long they keep me alive. I’ll one day die and the cycle can start all over again…
