Special Containment Procedures: SCP-(number) is to be contained on site ██ guarded by (4) security officers monitoring the entrance inside of site ██. The tomb containing SCP-(number) is to be guarded by an additional (2) security officers. Permission of entrance is required from Dr. ████████, and level 1 security clearance is also required. Dr. █████ is scheduled to count instances of SCP-(number)-1 through SCP-(number)-131 biweekly.

Description: SCP-(number) is a 3m x 3m long slab of sandstone, containing 131 organic human hands of varying age, race, gender, and size. These hands are to be referred to as SCP-(number)-1 through SCP-(number)-131. SCP-(number)-1 through 131 can seemingly "detect" living presence inside the tomb and writhe violently until the tomb is devoid of any organic material.
SCP-(number)-1 through 131 have also been known to lure victims a number of different ways:
- "Playing dead," to hide themselves from prey until within reach.
- Glints have been known to appear on the sandstone beneath the hands, resembling jewels or coins, presumably to lure potential grave robbers.
- On rare occasions, ceasing movement in all hands except a smaller, female hand. Movements then change from violent writhing to desperate clutching, as if sinking/drowning.
SCP-(number)-1 through 131 show from these examples they are able to work collaboratively, but are not considered sentient.
SCP-(number)-1 through 131's victim count is currently unknown, but since incident (number)-1-A and B, has been confirmed to be at least 2. It is also unknown how SCP-(number) came into existence, but Dr. ████████ theorizes it was with SCP-(number)-1 luring others since Egyptian times.

Dr. █████: Correct.
Dr. ████████: Can you tell me about that? From the beginning, please.
Dr. █████: Well, me and [DATA EXPUNGED] were performing our biweekly check-up on SCP-(number), like we always do.. did, and-
Dr. ████████: You're okay with this interview? If you change your mind at any point-
Dr. █████: Yes, yes, I'm fine, sorry. Well, we were performing our routinely check, when [DATA EXPUNGED] said he saw something.. irregular. He looked closer, and closer. I told him to stop, but he just wouldn't leave it. He mentioned.. before he reached in.. he saw a child's hand. I didn't see it myself, but I trust his judgement. I believe that's what he saw, yes. That's when he..
Dr. ████████: Reached in? to grab it?
Dr. █████: Yes.
Dr. ████████: And what then?
Dr. █████: He was.. torn to bits. In front of me.
Dr. ████████: That's when you screamed for help, from the security officers on duty? But he was beyond help, correct?
Dr. █████: .. Correct.
Dr. ████████: And it was your next check-up? That you saw it?
Dr. █████: Him, I saw.. his hand.
Dr. ████████: And you recognized it because?
Dr. █████: It was new. I saw his birthmark and, the ring was missing. He always wore the ring, always, always-

Closing statement: Dr. █████ cried for approx. 10 minutes, then left site ██.1
Report of incident (number)-1-B:
Dr. █████ showed up for her biweekly examination. The security officers on duty noted she had taken a longer amount of time than usual for her examination, approx. 15 minutes longer. Officer ███████████ noted she had shown up visually disturbed, and anxious. When Officer ███████████ had snuck peeks inside the tomb, he noticed she had been staring at SCP-(number)-131, the latest instance of SCP-(number), for a significantly long time, compared to other instances of SCP-(number). Near the end of Dr. █████'s examination, Officer ███████████ heard a brief scream of shock, followed by silence. When he rushed back inside the tomb, he witnessed Dr. ████ being torn apart by SCP-(number)-1 through 131 violently, presumably after she had reached for SCP-(number)-131. Officer ███████████ is currently under psychiatric evaluation, on request of Dr. ████████.
