Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be stored at site-██ with no fewer then three hundred (300) armed personal on staff at any given time. A radius around site-██ of no fewer than three (3) km is to be cleared of all structures, foliage, or terrain that can be used to provide any tactical advantage to a hostile force. Seismic monitors are also to installed to prevent hostiles from attempting to burrow under site-██
The exterior of site-██ should be built to withstand direct large scale assault, employing all appropriate offensive and defensive measures. While the interior of site-██ is to be built in a labrythnian fashion it order to slow down any forces that may breech exterior defences. This labyrinth will include the following features
- Multiple dead end hallways or looping corridors
- Multiple Titanium reinforced coded security doors
- In order to prevent hostile forces from gaining access to these doors by capturing and/or coercing high level research or security staff the code will be entrusted to three (3) random security personal of level 2 clearence or higher. These access codes are to be randomized and assigned to new a set of ranomized staff biweekly or at the conclusion of each SCP-XXXX-A event. In the event all three (3) Staff members with access to a specific door have been rendered unable to perform their duties a staff member of Level 4 security clearance or higher may enter an override code that will reset the door after a 24 hour period has elapssed. Staff members who have have held codes to a door are not to be assigned that specific door for at least two (2) months time.
- Special designed kill chambers that are employ multiple unpredictable and varied methods of killing of destroying all the room inhabitants
SCP-XXXX itself if to be placed inside a reinforced steel lockbox inside of one it's seven (7) reinforced containment chambers at random and shall be moved bi-weekly or after each SCP-XXXX-A event. In the event SCP-XXXX Is captured by SCP-XXXX-1, SCP-XXXX-2, OR SCP-XXXX-3 a kill switch withing SCP-XXXX'S containment box will disable all killroom and and alarm with be sounded to notify all personel to refrain from the use of explosives, this is done in order to protect SCP-XXXX from unintential destruction.
Storing SCP-XXXX Iniside impossible to reach places, for example, inside 1km of reinforced contrete, is not advised as SCP-XXXX-1 will apparate with knowledge and suficent counter measures against such containment solutions, rendering this method not cost effective.
As sections of site-██ are destroyed or breached during SCP-XXXX-A events they are to be reconstructed with new randomized variations. SCP-XXXX-1 and SCP-XXXX-2 Have both shown the ability to learn and adapt over time to our defenses, so the randomization in the construction of the site is tantamount to keeping SCP-XXXX contained.
Do to SCP-XXXX-1's And SCP-XXXX-2's anomlyous properties, a specially training task force, known as SCP-XXXX-Task Force Alpha (The Protagonists), is to be maintained with a minimum of 7 members. All members are to posses a majority of the following traits or abilities.
- Extensive combat training in the following categories
- Modern and antique firearms
- Historical european martial arts (HEMA)
- Eastern martial arts
- Bare knuckle boxing
- Stage combat
- Training in improvisational acting
- Advanced problem solving skills
- Advanced technical computer knowledge
- Advanced knowledge of pop culture for all age ranges and cultures
- Generally regarded as highly charismatic
- Generally regarded as attractive
In the event of a containment breech any available mobile task force should be deployed immediately before any SCP-XXXX-2 event causes any further containment breeches.
site-██ is located in the ██████ desert and is disguised as a military training facility and decommissioned nuclear testing range, a radius of 12km around the base is to be secured with security personal and perimeter fencing, any civilian who breeches the perimeter is to be detained, administered class A amnestics and turned over to local authorities.
Description: SCP-XXXX Is an orb approximately 23 cm in Diameter and 1.3 kg in weight and may at any time visually and texturally appear to be made out of glossy red polyethylene plastic, transparent glass, or metallic gold. The apparent material of SCP-XXXX will spontaneously change
any time after an SCP-XXXX-A event if SCP-XXXX is not in the possession of an instance of SCP-XXXX-1 and at least 7 days has passed since the previous SCP-XXXX-1 was defeated or destroyed ending the SCP-XXXX-A or B event.
SCP-XXXX itself is not dangerous in any capacity having no other anomalous properties other than spontaneous material transmutation and the ability to regenerate completely within 24 hours. In the event SCP-XXXX is destroyed it will cause an SCP-XXXX-A event to occur immediately upon it's regeneration. This event will happen regardless of the time between the last event, even if the last SCP-XXXX-A event is still ongoing. (See Addendum 03)
The real danger of SCP-XXXX stems from Events SCP-XXXX-A and SCP-XXXX-B and the anonymous entities that accompany them. SCP-XXXX-1, SCP-XXXX-2, and SCP-XXXX-3.
During an SCP-XXXX-A Event a group of hostile entities between between approximately thirty (30) to ten thousand (10,000) will spontaneously apparate between 0.5 km to 4 km around SCP-XXXX and converge toward toward SCP-XXXX with the intent of capturing it. All of but one of these events so far has ended in violent conflict, with the single outlier ending in a verbal "battle of wit" (see Addendum 03)
If an SCP-XXXX-A Event ends with an instance SCP-XXXX-1 or (in the event SCP-XXXX-1 have been destroyed) SCP-XXXX-2 in possession of SCP-XXXX, This will trigger and SCP-XXXX-B event. SCP-XXXX-B Events will see all remaining instances of SCP-XXXX-1, SCP-XXXX-2, and, agiven the current instances of SCP-XXXX-3 are of a form of sufficient intelligence, SCP-XXXX-3, attempt to steal and pillage any and all items they consider to be of high value and will not stop until SCP-XXXX is recovered (reverting to a SCP-XXXX-A event) or all instances of SCP-XXXX-1 and SCP-XXXX-2 have been destroyed or defeated. Unfortunately in the past this has included several anomalous objects, including SCPs████,████, and ████ leading to severe containment breaches.
SCP-XXXX-1 through 3 are humanoid entities that can vary greatly in appearance, size, temperaments, and
between events. These entities follow a hierarchical command structure with a single SCP-XXXX-1 in command, between 1 to 6 instance of SCP-XXXX-2 acting as intermediary command or special tactical units, and approximately between a few dozen to nearly 10,000 instances SCP-XXXX-3 acting as expendable grunts. In the event a large number (200+) of entities has been spawn for single event their may be an appearance of a more complex command structure however destruction of what apparent officers does not actually seems to affect the fighting capability of instances of SCP-XXXX-3. SPC-XXXX-3's fighting capability also uniquely seems to be inversely related to the number of instances spawned during the event. During SCP-XXXX-A events with very low entity counts SPC-XXXX-3 can be highly and formidable fighters with the toughness and fighting capabilities not dissimilar to and elite military force. However, in event with particularly high entity counts instances SPC-XXXX-3 has been seen being immobilized or even killed by single unarmed attacks made by untrained research personnel.
The most peculiar anomalous properties of SCP-XXXX-1 through 3 is that the entities will always follow a cohesive theme. These themes have been identified as being generically based on different genres from movies, books, television, and video games. For example, during the recovery of SCP-XXXX All Instances of SPC-XXXX-1 through 3 had the appearance and personalities of 18th century European Pirates, With SCP-XXXX-1 Acting as captain, 3 instances SPC-XXXX-2 acting as First mate, Quarter Master, and Navigator, and with the remaining instances of SPC-XXXX-3 acting as different low ranking pirates. The costumes and general attitude of the entities is believed to have been directly inspired by the movie ██████████████████████ by ██████.
SPC-XXXX-1 through 3 may also all have various properties depending on the current state of SCP-XXXX's 3 different material types, based on SCP-XXXX's anomalous properties manifesting themselves in accordance to popular media we believe the orb may be an indicator or a rating system, such as the United States ███ or ████ systems used to indicated what types of movies, television, or video game are appropriate for what age ranges. We have theorized that the plastic state indicates an event "appropriate" for young children, Glass for young teens, and gold for nature adults. Despite this apparent eating system being in place it should be noted that no one other then researchers or armed personnel should be present during an event as even a plastic event is still considered incredibly dangerous. Please see addendum 3 for a detailed list of affects based of the materials of the orbs.
Addendum 01 - Catalog of Events themes
In this thread we will keep a running list of short descriptions and a spread sheet counting all SCP-XXXX event themes that have occurred while SCP-XXXX what's been under Foundation control.
- Pirates: Elizabethan era style pirates, often lead by a Captain and ships officers. Typically armed with simple era appropriate swords, axes, and Flintlock or percussion cap firearms. Occasionally spawn with a landlocked ship with era appropriate cannons.
- Variants: Skeleton Pirates - identical except all humanoids appear as animated skeletons lack most or all of their organic tissue.
- Orcish Horde: Large green,black, or grey skinned humanoids with sharp teeth and short pointed ears. These creatures show below average intelligence and often speak in a unknown language or a broken form of the cockney dialect of England. Most often these creatures are armed with crude iron weaponry and armour, showing a strong preference for axes. The entities have had a variety of leaders including a elderly bearded human with the ability to alter reality(known as the "Wizard"), An unidentifiable humanoids dressed in black plate , or simply a larger, often minutely smart orc.
- Variants:Orcs with guns - only notable change is these orcs will also be armed with crude large caliber firearms and have a higher affinity for motley.
- Coldwar Spies: Humanoids entities with appearance of Russian, Chinese, or Korean covert Agents circa 1950-1970. These individuals are most often equipped with silenced pistols, sub machine guns, AK Pattern Assault rifles, and various high tech gadgetry these agents are also almost always trained in at least one (1) hand to hand martial art. Determining the SCP-XXXX-1 among these individuals is more difficult than most do to their covert method of operation, but 100% of instances with eye-patches have been instances of SCP-XXXX-1.
- Zombies: Humanoid entities who appear to be humans of mild to sever decomposition who will move in a disorganized fashion toward site-██ with their only method of breaching being to pile up and create ramps onto the ramparts. The "leaders" of these events appear to be opportunistic humans in disheveled clothes and wielding varied firearms and melee weapons. These individuals often refer to themselves as "survivors"
- Note: Thought there is a strong resemblance between these entities and the entities of SCP-███ it this has so far only been a cosmetic similarity
- Aliens:These creatures so far have not yet apparated with identical forms so describing them in detail is not possible, but they commonly have off color skin, large heads and black colorless eyes. They have always arrived with projectile weapons that use unidentified beams of energy. Instances of SCP-XXXX-1 has always been notably more flamboyant or much larger than their counterparts and these instances.
- Space Marines:These instances are often enlarged human creatures often using armour and weapons of an advanced but recognizable make up. These instances are extremely well trained infiltrators and utmost care is to be taken in combating them, as they are responsible for the first major containment breech of SP C-XXXX (see addendum 3). Instances of SCP-XXXX-1 among these individuals are easy to spot, as they always tendency to remove their helmets.
- Ancient Greeks: These instances take on the form of the Greek soldiers of Antiquity, however their armour is often a ahistorical bastardizations of hoplite armour and weapons. These instances often wield bronze and iron weapons semi appropriate to their era, with medieval era weaponry often being seen. These groups tend to be highly organized and disciplined, however their phalanx formations are completely ineffective against the sites defenses. The SCP-XXXX-1s of this form often wear flamboyant games or helmets of exceptional flamboyance.
- Note: some personal have reported experiences of time slowing down during confrontations with these instances, this have not been confirmed and is considered to be of low priority in the study of SCP-XXXX
- Vikings: These individuals appear to be humaoids of or northern European decent via the 10th century. The are typically wearing heavy furs, rough clothes, and chainmail and are armed with swords, axes, and spears. They typically do not follow any particular formation or tactics. SCP-XXXX-1 instances of this variety are typically the individual with the greatest physical might and longest beard.
- Organized Crime: This classification comes in multiple variations including prhobitionn era Italian and Irish crime syndicates aswell modern era Latin cartels as well as Japanese Yakuza and Chinese Triads. These individuals are armed with period appropriate firearms and melee weapons. SCP-XXXX-1 instances tend to to be older, slightly portly individuals.
- WWII/WWI Soldiers These instances appear as early 20th century soldiers from the first and second World Wars, these entities so far have only appeared to be of German or Japanese descent, they are equipped with period appropriate smalls arms and occasionally explosives impliments. SCP-XXXX-1 instances are easy to identify as they will always be high ranking military officers
- Ninjas: These individuals are humanoids typically of lean stature and appear to be of Japanese descent. They are always dressed in dark blue, black, or sheer white cloth gis and balaclavas. Their typical weapons are Katana style swords, quarter staves, hand sythes, various ropes and chains attached to weights or blades, throwing knives and or stars, Longbows, and various non lethal powders such as pepper, sand, crushed glass, as well as several unidentified irritant powders. These individuals are masters of stealth infiltration and assasination and their SCP-XXXX-1s are almost typically impossible to tell apart from the others.
- Note: Though these instances commonly materialize as cartoony, childish looking entities, they are *never* to be underestimated. As of yet these instances have not yet failed to breech exterior defences, cause extensive staff casualties and to date have been one of only 3 variants to have caused a containment breech. You might think cartoon ninjas look funny but the hole in the shape of security officer ████████ is more than enough proof that cartoon violence is nothing to laugh at.

Plastic
- Entities will take on cartoony proportions or excessively simplified colorful garb
- Entities Style of combat will be flamboyant, The entities will take a lot of time quipping, mocking, or over wise engaging in combative conversation rather than actual combat
- Entities wont ever bleed or show visible wounds, although they will be incapacitated by normal attack regardless
- Entities have not been observed using firearms in this form
- Attacks from these entities often leave
Glass
- Entities will fight with vigor but will often choose non lethal forms of defeating opponents if possible
- SCP-XXXX-1 or of the SCP-XXXX-2s will use the expletive ████ once
Gold
- Entities far more likely to take on horror based themes
- Entities will fight and kill without reservation
- Entities appear to have excessive amount of blood and viscera
- Entities will appear to have more historically based costumes and weapons
