I am new to the SCP world and have many scp ideas, 3 at least. I will focus on my first idea that I made unrelated to past original works, an SCP called Sawyu. I hope to make his number 479 to help stand for I-S-Y (I see you). Those who manage to envision this SCP without seeing the SCP itself are visited at night by Sawyu and each night a joint is removed by their saw like claws. The stubs left behind after taking away a joint point then have their skin stretch out thin and then tied up at the ends like a sausage or candy wrapper.
Sawyu is wendigo based creature with black, shaggy hair like fur that never sheds, a white skull resembling a deer or a large dog for a head, and multiple spines that seem to branch out like tree branches. Its antlers on the other hand shift the species it resembles with the seasons and its current biome, most likely to help hide itself amongst the terrain to avoid suspicion or unwanted attention, maybe even to lure in prey. They are a hoarder of body parts and are believed to consume the stolen body parts they collect, but it isn't always certain. The SCP seems to have a main body that can be contained, but its "clones" are able to escape undetected in order to collect the body parts of those who imagine its looks accurately enough to become its victims.
Basic Notes:
Class: Euclid
Danger Level: 4/10 until proven otherwise
Lifespan: unknown
Population of Species: Unknown, assumed to be one of a kind
Intelligence: Sentient, abe to interact with puzzles, cannot form words
Height on hindlegs: 2 1/3 meters
Weight: 220 lbs
Fullbody Length: 3 meters (including the tail)
Personality: seems to be neutral around most anything. Cautious at first, but proves to be quite curious, like a cat. Stands back and watches all that enter. If you don't interact with it it will come to you. Generally friendly towards all that enter, but fiercely protective of its hoard. Refuses to leave its hoard for too long, proving it can be paranoid of humans and personnel. Not too big on touching, but has no trouble with getting up close with you. When provoked it can make its spikes shoot up and adrenaline increases its strength. It does not seem to recognize personnel that have interacted with it over a long period of time until an hour as passed after raging. After raging it seems to forget personnel it used to recognize and the process of introduction is started all over again. Whether or not the rage causes it to forget personnel completely or it simply doesn't trust them anymore is uncertain.
SCP- #479 is to be contained within a concrete room with at least 10 meters of length and 5 meters of width to allow the SCP to move about freely and maintain its own exercise. Walls must be slanted in a way to avoid shadows from manifesting in the room, but steep enough to prevent SCP-#479 from limbing up them with ease. The roof should be made of steal steel frame roof pieces that are exposed to sunlight at all times of the day. The rooftop should be able to open up but sliding outwards to avoid casting shadows and bathe the area in sunlight at any given time in case SCP-#479 is to become hostile towards personnel. Containment area should not have any sort of shadowed areas once opened up to the sun in order to force SCP-#479 to retreat towards their hoard. Attempts to approach SCP-#479 after a negative interaction are not to be made until the sunlight is blocked again and have waited until an hour after interaction when the adrenaline has run out and SCP-#479 is back to a neutral state. One corner of the room should always have a box like structure about 4 meters high and 3 meters wide with a slant roof and an open-air doorway. This is where SCP-#479 will be able to locate their hoard of collected body parts and rest. All Class C personnel that attempt to approach SCP-#479's hoard are advised to take along a taser rifle to fend off SCP-#479 if and when they become hostile. All personnel should not approach the pile unless specifically ordered to for testing. Class C and D personnel will be used to approach SCP-#479 when deemed necessary for testing. Cameras are preferred to be on all four corners of the room in order to keep an eye on SCP-#479 to try and spot its whereabouts at all times in the hopes that one may catch a glimpse of signs suggesting SCP-#479 has entered the fictitious realm. These cameras are not mandatory, but they can be a big help to those looking to enter or for catching a glimpse of SCP-#479 shifting into the different planes. If a camera has gone down it is to be fixed whenever possible, as soon as possible, but it is not first priority.
Sawyu is not an ordinary wendigo, and cannot be assumed to be a wendigo like they are depicted in legends and fairytales. Sawyu is a creature resembling a wendigo with similar wendigo properties. They both consume human flesh alone and both are gangly and long. The big and most noticeable difference between the two similar species are the abilities and the very thing that makes Sawyu an SCP.
Researcher Doctor █████ has developed a theory about Sawyu and how it manages to walk amongst humans while still inside its containment. Sawyu seems to be able to exist on more than the physical plane of reality, but rather in a fictitious plane that seems to be connected to the human consciousness. Sawyu lives as long as that plane continues to exist. It can travel through this plane to enter the human conscious like they were to navigate the streets in a city to arrive at different buildings. Each mind is a gateway into their head and can allow Sawyu to travel to their current location. Sawyu can only travel at night, which explains why people are waking up without their limbs with no recollection of how it came to be. It is entirely possible the SCP has managed to find a way to wipe a part of the victim's memory in order to stay concealed, but there is no evidence yet to suggest it can withstand sunlight. Studies show that when introduced to sunlight Sawyu will retreat into the shadows as quickly as it can. This proves that Sawyu does its best to stay in the cover of shadows. If there are no shadows to hide in it will continue to scream with a sound similar to crying. This sound is assumed to be out of fear as the sun triggers a fear response within the creature. The reasoning for this is unknown.
This theory has yet to proven and yet to have physical evidence as to whether this plane exists or not, but it seems to be the most reasonable explanation.
Some of Sawyu's victims have managed to find the help of the SCP foundation in time before their inevitable demise. After close examination of the past few days before the first night they are visited, victims have reported thinking of a creature matching Sawyu's description before their limbs began disappearing. They would have their limbs in the morning and then it would be gone the next. No matter the case the order in which the limbs are severed and removed are fingers (Joint by joint), toes, hands, feet, forearms, lower legs, upper arm, thighs, and then finally the head. Each are removed one by one, starting from the right side to the left side. The body parts are no where to be found, and rarely pop up in Sawyu's hoard of parts. After each removal Sawyu leaves enough of the skin, and only the skin, in order to carefully stretch out the skin and wrap it up like a candy wrapper using metal twisty ties. The blood is always cleaned up and the wound is always cleaned, leaving no trace of Sawyu or the missing body parts. This process does not stop until the head is removed, leaving only the torso behind. The torso is never taken like the rest of the body parts and is preserved in some sort of organic spray secreted by Sawyu. Samples of this spray are difficult to get a hold of and are contained in the laboratory. Each case has a few things in common, making it easy to tell it is Sawyu, A) they always leave the torso behind, B) they always start on the right side of the body and work their way to the left, C) the victims often recall seeing Sawyu before in their head before the nightly removals began, D) The body parts are always removed at night while the victim is asleep.
Sawyu does not seem to feel hunger, much less need nutrition in order to survive. It seems to operate on another unknown energy source, which could be referred to as its "backup generator". Although Sawyu does enjoy consuming human flesh, it does not see it as anymore than a treat. Sawyu does, however, burn off the extra energy that the flesh gives to it when consumed. After every feeding the creature will become lazy, allowing personnel to get close to it with a full and happy stomach. Sawyu seems to understand that the more it eats the more likely it will become vulnerable to the staff's poking and prodding, and so reserves a pile of carefully picked body parts in a hoard that it rests upon, often rationing out the pile until it is able to collect more. It attempts to maintain a certain amount of collected flesh and preserves what it has in a light green, transparent spray that comes from its front fangs, which are hallow. This transparent spray has preserving properties that stops organic materials from rotting. This substance is not poisonous and can be consumed, although after consumption it can cause clogging in the digestive track. The spray seeps into the material being sprayed on and dries out the materials to slow down the rotting process. SCP-#479 proceeds to sit on top of the pile and use its insulating fur to heat up the sprayed substance in order to help dry out the rest of the moisture. Its hair like fur is thicker near the coat and more loose farther away from the skin, and it is extremely absorbent to water if dunked or spilled on.
